A couple weeks ago I promised I’d share with you the recipe I tried out for Banana Cream Pie In A Bowl.Ingredients you’ll need:
1 cup flour1/4 cup packed brown sugar
1/2 cup butter or margarine
1/2 cup peanuts
1 box banana pudding (instant)
2 cups cold milk3 ripe bananas, sliced1 container of cool whip (8 oz)
Preheat oven to 400 degreesI doubled the recipe.
First take the flour and brown sugar in a large bowl. Cut in the butter using a pastry cutter. If you don’t have a pastry cutter use two butter knives cutting against each other like I did. Do this until the mixture is crumbly. Stir in peanuts.

Press evenly into the bottom of a 9×9 baking pan. Bake for 15 minutes. Stir to break up. Let cool completely.
I know this recipe is supposed to go in a bowl but I’ve had this Trifle Bowl from Pampered Chef that I haven’t had a chance to use yet. I really like this bowl because first it comes with a cover which no other ones do. This makes it great for transport. Plus the base can come off making it just a bowl or for easy storage when not in use.
In your bowl layer the bottom with a layer of the crust crumble.
I started to forget my camera here but you would then layer with the banana pudding. Then slice your banana’s I used an egg slicer so that they would all come out the same size. If you want you can then sprinkle additional peanuts here. Then a layer of cool whip.
i do mines from scratch, but this sounds easy and looks good.
OH YUM!
My kids would love this- they go through bananas like they aren’t being grown any more!
