Airport security these days just gets harder and harder. Having the right luggage to get through quickly is important to me. Especially when you have kids in tow. As most of you know I’ve been doing quite a bit of traveling lately and I’ve been testing out which of our bags work most effectively. Truthfully, you’d be surprised how many bags can’t get you the most bang for the buck and considering the price tag on luggage these days.
When I was offered a choice from High Sierra I asked them for their opinion for a carry-on bag that would be most effective for traveling either alone or with my family. They recommended the Carry-On Wheeled Backpack with Removable Day Pack.
As you can see from a quick look it looks like any other carry-on. It’s not, so don’t be fooled!This bag is stylish, well organized, and durable!
As you know my family recent got back from a family vacation in Florida. We made this my 9 year old’s entire suitcase. Letting us knock out a check on too! In return saving us $25!
Being only a little wider then your average carry-on he was even easily able to wheel it through the airport without it giving him any difficulty. Since it held everything he could possibly need It was the only bag he had to be responsible for. This also made it easier on us to have to worry about one less bag. Having to carry the car seat already made things hard enough.
It has a full size sturdy handle that pops up with the push of a button. Easy enough to use even when you have your hands full! The little gray tab you see sticking out is the pull out personal information tag.
Even with all the extra options and storage on the outside there is still tons of space inside for all your clothing! Plus the zippered pocket above for essentials!
The back of the bag simply folds over and securely attaches at the bottom of the bag so that it doesn’t get it your way. You can see it also has a nice built in stand for when you park it upright is a sturdy balance on the floor.
The pocket on the very front is perfectly sized to keep your cell phone, key, and license handy! 
The front of the bag has a good size pocket to fit two pairs of Johnny’s shoes too. Keeping any dirt they may carry away from any other personals or clothing. our phone, a calculator, you name it! 
Plus, if for any reason it didn’t fit sizing for airport security you can simply zip off the front and carry it on your back with another set of padded shoulder straps. Both bags still maintain all of their style yet have now become completely functional too!
When you need to go back and forth from one piece to two and back again quickly this bag works well as it simply uses Quick Clips. Just click the clip and then it zips right around and off you go.
Everything about this Carry-On Wheeled Backpack is perfect for our needs. I am happy with everything about this bag. The quality of this bag is extremely well built! The fact that this one bag can replace two also makes it so much more convenient as well!
