No one seems to know the rules of how it all works on claiming product received. Many of us have consulted accountants some of us multiple ones and they too aren’t quite sure.

We know most states require single items of $500 or $600 per item is a states required claim to items. So if you won a cool vacuum or double stroller last year make sure you notify your accountant so they are aware.

Do you claim these a certain way? Do you notify people and let them know. Were they notified when they won? Do you not do anything?
