Thank goodness….I’m beat! But I am the Best Mom EVER!

We did movies (Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs), Halloween parties, soccer games (in the pouring rain!), birthday parties, jamboree, parent conferences, week of half days, & family dinners with my family. Seriously, what was I thinking? Why would I do that to myself? Ok, so truthfully I couldn’t help most of it because they weren’t my made plans but did I really need to go an put the movies and dinners in there? Stuff like that you can’t take back though. My kids were so excited about the 3D movie and my dad was happy to finally see the boys since it’s been awhile.

Here are some pictures from the weekend. See I told you I didn’t like Johnny’s costume! His father picked it out with him and then made ME be the one to take him everywhere in it! (???) I entered every Spirit Halloween Costume giveaway I could find to try and get him that Gothic Vampire Costume I liked so much! It was expensive though and I couldn’t afford to buy it when he already had one! As you can see I didn’t win 🙁

Anyway Hubs came home at 1:00am so we’re all good now. I can finally get some sleep!

Do you do that when your other half is gone? Do you toss & turn? I gave up ages ago and instead I just stay up. I averaged to fall asleep between 3-4:30am each night (morning) and Gavin was in my room by 6am!

This earns me a night out with the girls right?

Oh! Oh! Oh!

Best part! Last night before I put the boys asleep Johnny came up to me gave me a huge hug and a kiss! Told me I was the best mom ever and he loved me!

I know this sounds whatever to you but that boy is almost 9! Nine year old boys don’t do that! He hasn’t willingly given me a kiss that i haven’t had to tackle him to the ground or bribe him for! I think he was 6 maybe 7 since he hasn’t wiped a kiss away!
