Have you ever fallen in love with a piece of clothing just to try it on and realize that it showed too much here and there? I have. I hate when the perfect dress comes down to low in the front or up to high in the back. Or when you have to layer it all funky to make it comfortable. Well the of Shabby Apple felt the same way so they went out and searched all over from trade shows to marketplaces. They then realized they couldn’t blame the department stores for not carrying them because the designers weren’t making them!
I love that Shabby Apple not only wants you too look good while being comfortable but they want you to be fashionable and stylish at the same time! They offer dresses for Woman, Preteen, and Girls! They have lines from flirty, sophisticated, to Manhattan, and more! They even carry plus size dresses! My only wish was that their plus size dresses were worn by plus size models.
What really caught my eye was Shabby Apple’s fabulous selection of maternity dresses! When I browsed their selection my eyes were immediately pulled to their Green with Envy Dress! While I’m not normally one for loud and bright colors I absolutely loved the color of this dress! I also loved that it was machine washable and didn’t require much care like ironing!
When I received the dress I really liked the lightweight feel of the fabric. Being pregnant is sometimes hard enough and feeling weighted down or hot because of your outfit is never fun. The material of this dress is a cotton/spandex mix so it has a great stretchy feel to it. If you tug at the dress you can easily feel this.
What I absolutely loved about this dress is that while it has a wrap style top to it it is sewn nicely so that you don’t have to worry at all about exposing yourself. The tie at the waist is nicely sewn and secured into the waist line so you don’t need to worry about it falling out or twisting. There are also two generous pockets on the sides. I always hate how many maternity outfits take away all pockets. I love that not only did they not take them away but that they are in a dress!
Also, I am not yet pregnant and I tried this dress on, while I could feel how this dress would fit well while pregnant it actually looked great on with no belly.
