Thursday Tips Series! Learn what you can handle!

I wish I had truly understood just how time consuming my blog would become. I remember the days where I struggled to think about what to post only posting two times a week. Now I struggle how not to post more then 3 times a day! Sometimes there are so many things I want to chat with you about but never find the time. Then when I finally do there’s something else to talk about and there it went. Remember the Pre-K horror story on the bus I wanted to tell you about and mentioned weeks ago…well a month later doesn’t it seem irrelevant?

Know what you want to blog about. Try and keep it somewhat always related. There are times where a post may be completely off the wall, but your readers will be used to what you blog about and somewhat have the same likes and dislikes as you.

Figure out if you want to be controversial. Some readers don’t like drama, others live for it. I’ll be honest the person I am in person is MUCH less censored then J. Leigh Designz is. But I know most of my readers of a high chance of having a toddler on their lap and certain things just aren’t appropriate. I’m a politician. HUGE. I’ll battle my beliefs and stand strong on them. However I won’t dismiss you or attack you for having a different opinion or belief then me. I’m just a very stubborn opinionated person in general. This makes me a difficult person especially when you add the speak before thinking concept. Luckily in blogging I have to hit the publish button first!

Don’t take on more then you can handle…like me. Your blog will stand a chance of becoming a chore. Luckily I {heart} my blog so regardless of how hectic my life becomes this is my outlet, my life is my chore LOL! I probably shouldn’t be running a blog as busy as mine but I haven’t fallen on my face yet so I pat myself on the back for that haha!
