–JumpStart We had a chance to review this great JumpStart game! Right away I was really liking this game because it was something my boys could play together! Seeing that there is almost 6 years in between them there aren’t many games I can say this about. However JumpStart was a game that was fun for both of them to play yet instilled things like math, reading, and direction following.
My oldest loved exploring through the incredible virtual 3D land. I remember when he was 3 playing the JumpStart CD’s you could put in your computer and this online version was FAR from that. I was amazed to see how much was improved and different about the site. The one thing that hasn’t changed is JumpStart’s ability to get children excited about learning. This game pulled both of my children in and entertained them for hours. While my oldest could play this independently, my toddler occasionally did need some assistance.
What I also really liked about this game was that I was told about the constant updates that being put in and still to come. JumpStart is always looking for ways to make your children learn while having fun. JumpStart always keeps your child’s safety in mind as well. They make sure that your child can’t put personal information on the website. For example, when I played my character was chosen from a selection of choices right down to her name. I had a blond pigtailed girl in a pink jumper named Lily.
I think this is a game that is one every child should experience. I know we will be continuing to use this great game for quite a while as both my boys loved it…okay I did too!
