I thought I’d share a valuable tip today! I am surprised on how many emails I get each week asking me on tips on blogging. How’d I do it? Where’d I start? What I think are good tips? More exposure? Sometimes it shocks me because my blog is fairly new and there are so many more amazing bloggers out there! I’m honored that many of you feel my opinion would be a good one.
So, today I thought I’d share a tip as my token of appreciation!
Backlinking in google- Very Important!
If you are looking for people to find your site (especially if you’re reviewing a product!) is to back link! I have many backlinks going out in reviews that pull a great crowd in from their searches in google! The main idea of the game is exposure! You want your to be the blog people click on in a search of millions! Not only do readers discover your blog, but google tracks that to help determine your google rank. The higher the number = the higher the rank.
Anyways, back to linking through google! Pick phrases in your writing that make sense to the obvious. Ex. “I am writing a post on ‘Backlinking in Google‘ to help add exposure to my blog and help my readers”! I would highlight the obvious ‘Backlinking in Google‘ but also ‘help add exposure to my blog’ and ‘readers’. This will pull your blog in when your brain others are searching questions or research on a product.
