I recently stumbled across this site called Naturally Knotty. It carries many items such as Totes, Wraps, Clutches, and Baby Items. I don’t normally cut and paste huge paragraph’s in my reviews but Naturally Knotty says it so perfectly I can’t really say it any other way:Naturally Knotty is committed to environmentally-friendly manufacturing practices, integrating components of factory scrap, factory overstock or recycled materials whenever possible. We are very careful to insure our products are made in factories that treat their employees fairly because we believe in the end we are all in this together and one persons lifestyle should not be to the detriment of anothers. This is also why we focus on giving back to those in need wherever possible.
They have the most stunning and beautiful items in each of their categories. In every product you look through you can tell that Jamine Fullman, the name behind the bag, has paid attention to every detail. Jasmine not only wants an attractive earth friendly bag – she wants one that is quality made and completely functional. As stated in the clip she has taken extra care to make sure that nothing on this bag neglected. Every detail has been thought over.
I received the Brown Knotty Tote. At first I was curious to see the recycled plastic coating on the outside of the bag. I was wondering if it in anyway would effect the way I liked this bag. When it arrived. I was immediately impressed and the plastic outside was not nearly as noticeable as I expected it to be. The outside of this bag is literally stunning. I love the floral pattern on the front and I love that I can easily wash it down if needed. If I drop it or set it down I don’t need to worry about it ruining this bag. It is made to last! The trim and the handles are made of a nice soft yet firm material. The handles fit nicely over my shoulder. Truthfully, this is the largest everyday bag I have ever used and I was worried I wouldn’t like it because I would just make a mess inside of it turning it into a pit. However just like the outside of this bag the inside of the bag has great detail too! When you open the zipper (best brand in the world ya know) and they have cute little knots on them! Inside there is a large divider. Its off to the side allowing you to split the bag or still put something large inside. One side has a zippered pocket (with a knot!) large enough for a small address book to fit into and the opposite side has two pockets. These pockets I love because my camera (in its case) and my glasses case fit perfectly into. The smaller one perfectly fits my checkbook with a couple pens and personal items.
Oh! I forgot to mention the outside has pockets on the sides too. AS Jasmine mentions in her clip they are made to fit a passport. I use them differently. I have my phone and keys on one side and often my son’s sippy cup on the other, so that they are all easily accessible.
Although this bag is meant to be an everyday tote it could very easily be used as a very fashionable and very functional diaper bag!!
I seriously LOVE this bag! I have not switched back to my other one since!
