Aladdin Cup Update!

First I want to thank ALL of you that helped them reach their goal of 422 fans by Earth day on 4/22! You guys rock!I have had some emails from some people questioning how Aladdin was going to get your cups to you, so I sent an email over to them.

Here was their response:

We are still learning a lot about facebook as we go, and we originally planned on sending a message to all the people who were going to get a mug and have them respond to us on facebook. Unfortunately facebook does not allow this kind of activity and kindly asked me to stop sending messages, or be suspended. I did send a notification and post a status update with instructions on how to get addresses to me, and so far it seems to be working, albeit slowly.

If you could tell your bloggers who signed up on our fan page to send messages on facebook to Aladdin Sustain with their name and address to receive their mug that would be great. Maybe as an update to your posting about the promotion.

So please bear with them, they are trying! 🙂 They are a great company trying to get this going!

    I guess I was a lucky one who got a message before facebook told them to slow down! Facebook tries to curb spam which is good, but sometimes innocent people get caught in their regulations.

    I have a message from Aladdin on my Facebook page but I am not very computer savvy. How are they going to get my address without it being made public? Sorry, I’m just confused even following the link posted by Aladdin.
