There is only one week until Christmas. I still have LOTS of shopping to do. I need to finish up on a few handmade items I made, print out a few pictures and wrap the presents I do have….
Friday night we are having family over to celebrate the holiday and do our gift exchange. I love having people over and hanging out! We finally have our tree up and I LOVE the way it makes our living room feel. Every year it makes me want to get a fake one so I can keep it up year round. Unfortunately my hubby likes it down and out as soon as possible….which in the past has been as soon as Dec. 26!!! Here is a shot of my boys in front of our tree…LOL I know you can’t really see our tree but the boys were determined NOT to let me get the shot….30 shots later this was all I was lucky to get!

Last week our area had a MAJOR ice storm and many areas were in ‘state of emergency’. My dad & his wife were without power, water, etc for 4 days and some people still don’t have it and aren’t expected to for at least 2 weeks! YIKES! Although the picture shows otherwise it was actually a really pretty site!

as for your picture!! bravo…i myself had to get 3 small girls(one sick,one tired, and one distracted) to smile !!aahhh!!
we too got covered in ice this past week. i think just seeing everything completely frozen is quite a sight! 🙂
