Wordless Wednesday Oops!

Well, I went to upload some Easter photos from my SD card for WW but one of my kids accidentally put the SD card into the CD drive and I can’t get it out. Hubs said he’d look at it. Otherwise I’ll be bringing it down to get looked at. So I ran out and took a pic.

I know it’s a bad photo but we built the frame tonight for my new herb garden. I’ll still have the vegetable garden in the backyard but we had an awkward amount of space behind our patio and didn’t know what to do with it. So, tonight we built an herb garden. I can’t wait to fill this up. I’ll be sharing lots of gardening posts this summer 🙂

(a MUCH better pic to come soon!)

Good luck with your garden! We only have strawberries, chives, and rosemary right now. We’re slowly bringing in new items as we can keep them alive!

    • Jennifer says:

I’ve been debating using some of the space on strawberries. Are they hard?

  10. Dee says:

  15. Louise says:

I really wish we had enough sun to build a decent garden!

    • Jennifer says:

Our vegetable garden has poor sun, but we stay away from things like green peppers. Our tomatoes and green beans do great though.

  16. that’s awesome! I tried to start a veggie garden this year but surprise surprise…they all died 🙁 I have a black thumb!

  17. OH!! That happened to me!!!! Let me tell you what to try… take a knife or flat edge of a similar thickness, and slowly stick it into the cd drive, opening the entrance up. With the knife holding the cd drive open, pick up the laptop (I sure hope you’re talking about a laptop!!) and turn it on it’s side. The sd card should fall out! Good luck!! I hope that works!!!!
    Mandy 🙂

    • Jennifer says:

It’s not that kind of drive 🙁 It doesn’t pop out it’s just a slit on the side of my laptop.I’ve tried everything!

  18. anna says:

  22. Emilie @ Baby Loving Mama says:

It seems that everyone is tackling gardening this year! I feel like such a slacker for only potting a few flowers and hanging a basket or two but the darn deer that are always in my yard make it hard to plant much else!

    Good luck with your herbs!

    • Jennifer says:

In our yard it’s bears and bunnies. It’s funny how much damage those little bunnies can do!

  23. Stefany Thode says:

Very cool! I am hoping to have any sort of garden this year but it isn’t looking hopeful.

  24. That is a HUGE herb garden!

  25. Kimberly@PrettyPinkMomma says:

Holy smokes! You really are planning to get gardening! I always think that the idea is nice but I know that I would kill everything if I started one. Maybe one day when the boys are just a little bit older and they can help a bit more. Have fun though!

  26. I can’t wait to see your Posts on the gardens – good luck with those. I’m going to try planting a few plants in pots etc. due to back problems I won’t be able to pull weeds in the backyard, but maybe I can grow some in these huge pots I have on the front porch. I’m also going to try one of those topsy turvy thingys. So we’ll see.

    • Jennifer says:

My dad does everything in those topsy turvy things lol, even peppers and cucumbers!

  27. O-NO, I hope you get it out!!! – That is a huge herb garden!

  28. Looks like a great big space to be filled with herbs! I just love having my herb garden and it saves so much money for us. Those tiny little packs of herbs are so expensive.

  29. Marilyn @ A Lot of Loves says:

That’s going to be a huge herb garden. Jealous!

  30. Holly says:

Awesome space for an Herb garden! Stinks about the card.

  31. Aleks says:

I wish I had sun for a bigger garden. We’re trying one of those little city garden planner kits on my front steps since that seems to be the sunniest area.

  32. La-La's Home Daycare says:

    Yes that’s an oops! sorry!

  33. That is going to be a nice size herb garden! Can’t wait to see how it turns out.

Good luck getting your card out.

  34. Someday, when I have a house and not a condo… *sigh*

  35. Rachel says:

WOW — what herbs are you going to be planting? That’s an enormous space for herbs. Yay!

    • Jennifer says:

I want to do ones like basil, cilantro, oregano, etc but I’ll also add in things like lavender, chives, and lunaria. So it will be a nice mix 🙂

  36. Jenny says:

    That will be so nice!

  37. Sandy S says:

Good luck with the computer and congrats on the herb garden…can’t wait to see more pictures as you plant!

    Kas

  41. Oh boy, I’d have to call a computer doctor for that one, and personally I have a brown thumb. Anything I plant dies instantly. Good luck with your projects. Following you.

  42. I am so jealous. I want my husband to build a small garden for me in our yard like you have done too! Can’t wait to see what it looks like in time.

    • Jennifer says:

Start off with buckets. My hubby finally got sick of the buckets all over the place, that’s how I got my gardens!

  43. Maggie says:

That is great! I hope you end up with an amazing garden!

  44. Sam says:

My husband decided he wanted an herb garden last year. He planted it, and then I don’t think he stepped foot near it again, lol. I’m taking that plot back for my vegetables this year! Good luck with your garden and your SD card.

    • Jennifer says:

      LOL, that’s funny!

  45. Mimi says:

Man, and ENTIRE herb garden. I might have a pot or two this year…we’ll see. =)

    • Jennifer says:

I’m super excited about it! Although looking at it now I’m a bit overwhelmed about how big it is for just herbs.

  46. Brandy says:

Good luck! I have no green thumb what so ever!

  47. Deborah says:

That’s the perfect spot for a herb garden! I can’t wait to see it all filled up!

  48. Heidijaneblankets says:

Oh no lol. My husband does that type of handyman work and garden building this time of year.

  49. Kayla says:

Uh Oh! I hope you get that SD card out O.o
I’ve done that before, but thankfully it came right out.
That’s a really cool picture you DID get even if it’s not the greatest quality-I can’t wait to see how your gardening journey progresses 😀

  50. Erica G says:

I am going to have to start with pots. I would love a whole garden, but I think I should start slow.
