Getting back on the Total Gym

For over a month I’ve been sharing my stories about my experience with the total gym. Last week I had just gotten back from vacation and was in a downward spiral getting myself motivated again. Not only had I stopped regularly using it but the 2 pounds I had lost on it were back. When using the Total Gym it not only gets you exercising but gets your mind thinking too. You don’t want to eat junk anymore because you want to see progress at the end of the week. I also find that checking the scale in the morning each day before I jump in the shower gives me motivation for the day.

Before I left for vacation I was sticking to a specific routine with the cards that came with the Total Gym. Upon returning I just couldn’t get back in the grove. I had told you that Johnny my almost 10 year old son was doing it with me and was getting frustrated with my recent lack of enthusiasm and went and pulled out the poster that came with the Total Gym. We started playing around with the different exercises and before you knew it we were both getting a good workout together.

The poster has different exercises for all the different area’s of the body. So you can do several in each category and know that when you’re done you’ve gotten a great workout for your entire body. Of course you’ll need to switch them up each day since certain parts of the body should be alternated .

What I really love is that all the material that comes with the Total Gym is so informative. You don’t need to have any knowledge of how to use the gym to figure it out. Everything it comes with not only gives great how to photographs but tells you as well.

Don’t forget that if you’ve been wanting to invest in a Total Gym of your own you can get 15% off by clicking on a link through one of the Total Gym Mom’s. This is the perfect time to make the investment. It would make a great family gift and a great way to kick of your New Years Resolution of getting your family back in shape!

Make sure to check in next week to follow along!

I understand how hard it can be to get back to a routine once you’ve deviated.
It’s hard, but I know you can do it 🙂
