I chose the Shine Company Westport Kids Conversation Kids Outdoor Chair in natural. It’s available in natural, yellow, green, blue, red, and white.
I probably should have figured, but these chairs came in far more pieces then I expected. They required so thinking to put together. As you can see above you had to figure out all the arms and legs and since there are two chairs total. You’ll need a screwdriver and a drill. My 9 year old son who is my little builder for everything that comes in did need Dad’s help on this one.
My husband said it was quality made. They took extra steps and spent extra time making sure it. It had counter sunk screw holes even.What I really liked is that once you assemble the chairs you have the option to have two separate chairs.
The decision to make them one unit is actually completely up to you. We did end up screwing them together to make one complete unit. The table piece can simply slide into place. You can’t move it much since it isn’t locked together. We knew the boys will be boys so we screwed it all down. We actually ended up building a brace for the bottom back. We felt it didn’t have a lot of support when we picked it up. We don’t leave ours outside so we pick it up to bring it back and forth.
I was hoping these would be a bit larger. While my 9 year old can sit in them comfortably you can still see that it much better suits my 3 year old. I couldn’t really get a real feel for the size off the website.I really like these chairs. I love that I went with the natural. We have to stain our deck this year and I plan on staining these chairs to match when we do. I’ll definitely share photos again. I am glad I picked these and the kids love not only having their own personal seats but they love finding excuses to use the shared table in between.
