So, in high school John used to call me Jennie b/c he knew how much it bothered me. I couldn’t stand the nickname. Especially when ForestGump came out and everyone felt the need to tell me that ‘Jenny & I were like peas & carrots!’. It’s just one of those things that drove me crazy and he would do it as a simple tactic for my annoyance.
Well, I am not very much of a morning person and John wakes me up every morning. He gets out of the shower lets Gavin loose and comes back in our room to get ready. Normally Gavin crawls into bed with me and asks to cuddle and watch The Wiggles as I refuse to get up before 7:30am. Well, that’s just not how it goes anymore. Now, I get my 2 year old running down the hall and climbing all over me in bed all while yelling “Jenneeeee” ” Jenneeeee”.
Are you kidding me? Seriously? He picks that up out of all things?
Of course my hubby just goes in his closet and snickers.

Husbands think they are always sooo funny… and some of the time they are hilarious, but its times like this you just have to smile and say thanks, deeear! It is really cute though that your sweet 2 year old runs into see you every morning.
isn’t it amazing what kids pick up on? He must know that it is a name of affection for mommy!
I’m the first one up in my house, and go into the kitchen to get dressed. Yes, call me thoughtful!
