Aloha Friday

If you’ve never heard of it, it started over on An Island Life.

I ask a question….I answer it….and then you answer it too!
Sound like fun?

So, for this week’s question:

Q: If you could relocate, would you? Where?

A: In a heart beat. I can’t stand living in the cold. Sure New England gets pretty warm in the summer. It’s so pretty in the fall- but I love the ocean. I’d love to live near it and somewhere it was warm all the time. We frequent the Fort Myers, FL area a lot and I love it there. Even in January its warm out and we can all go to the beach. Right now we’re still getting snow and I’m so ready to get outside again.

Comments

  1. I hate to admit it, but I don’t think I would want to move. We are near family and in our hometown. I am pretty content to raise my kids on the farm in the country.

  2. If all my children would move with me and buy homes out there I would love to move to Florida where it warm all the time, and be able to go see the ocean whenever I want too and my husband loves Universal Studios too, but that’s a dream that will never happen, so for now I love where I’m leaving. I’m right near Fox River, and it’s so beautiful out here too. I moved from the city (cement jungle), and I’m happy where I’m at.

  3. YES Absolutly!! BUT I don’t think we’d have an agreement to where we would go. I’d love to go somewhere warm like Las VEGAS or Florida but hubby loves to snow mobile so we’d need mountains and snow . I hate being cold.

I’m still freezing my butt of right now. were back in the 30’s

  6. I would. I think I would just want to move a bit north of where we are so we could get out of the city and into a small town in the country. We’re surrounded by family so we wouldn’t want to go too far but the country sounds so lovely.

  7. I like the community we live in but I don’t like the weather Midwest weather is cold! I don’t know where I’d move to. I don’t want Florida’s hurricanes or California’s earthquakes.

  8. Probably not since all our family is here but I would love to live in Colorado

  9. In a heartbeat I would relocate back to Seattle where I grew up and my family still is. Luckily, we’ll be doing just that in the next year or two…can’t wait!!

in the past I would say in a heartbeat now the answer would be I would love to visit but not move. I want to be close to my family

Yah I think I would, for a while at least. I really want to live in Florida – not sure why, but maybe it’s because some of my good friends live down there and I miss them

  16. Deborah says

We’ve thought about that question and we love where we are at. So no, we wouldn’t re-locate anywhere.

  17. Jennifer H says

Nope, I love Fl!! I can’t deal w/cold weather so this is where I’ll stay. 🙂

  18. kailani says

I would move to LA since I could transfer to the base we have there. Then I’d be at Disneyland every weekend! 🙂

  19. Erica G says

I am really not sure. There are so many places I love. I lived in St. Louis for two years and I loved it. I loved the food, the people, all of the things to do there. I also love the beach and the mountains. I need to win the lotto!
