Mommy Daddy Day @ Preschool!

So I told you yesterday was Mommy-Daddy day at Gavin’s preschool!
They invited all the parents in today to meet the teachers and get the children acquainted with the classroom. This morning was his first official day though.

I don’t think he’ll have any problems though. He’s not a kick and scream good bye type of boy. He never was. He quickly finds something that interests him runs back for a kiss and all you get is ‘See ya later, Mommy’ and he’s gone. Luckily, he’s a run so fast I trip to give you a hug and say “missed you so much, Mommy’ when I return type of boy or I’d be tempted to think I wasn’t missed LOL!

We were rather impressed with the classroom! It had so many different work stations and play stations even I could find myself entertained for hours in there! I now see why they have a wait list and we had to go through interviews to get him in. Hopefully they continue to surprise us with exceeding standards!
Gavin loved playing with the pink house. Of course Daddy wondered why he couldn’t play with the ten million other options!

See the desk in the picture above? I want one! I wish I knew who made it! They also have these small adorable wooden rocking chairs!
The play dough was fun too! I have an awesome play dough recipe I should share with you. Its far better then the expensive packaged stuff, lasts longer and takes pennies to make! Below he made Daddy & i some yummy food in the “Dramatic Play Area” you shoulda seen the real like spaghetti they had!
Sadly, I work the same days he goes so I am unable to pick him up. I’m dying to know how his first day went. I really wish I could have gotten out and brought him to Nanny’s house. Although, I’m sure she loved being able to see the classroom too. I took a ton of pictures this morning too so I’ll make sure to post them too! His brother walked him in with us since he didn’t start until 15 mintutes later!
