Q: Have you filed your taxes yet?
A: We are just turning our stuff in. It’s still messy with all the insurance stuff from the fire. While the government doesn’t prevent you from maxing out your gains for the year they do for loses. We have to spread our loss over 5 years to get it all. It’s a pain.

That is a pain! We have an accountant do ours, because of my husband’s business. He already filed them.
We have filed our taxes and we’ve already received our refund. My husband usually files in January.

No. We always owe so, no rush here.
Haven’t filed yet because we own a business and most likely will have to pay. Our accountant handles it all for us.
taxes, yuck! the hub is in charge of getting them done which means he collects the paperwork and takes it all to the accountant. the last two years we’ve filed extensions and it looks like this year will be the same . . .
Yes filed, got our money and spent it on a new (to us) minivan already.
We have an accountant nicknamed ‘Shady Lady’ who does our taxes for us – she usually doesn’t file them until the fall, so we haven’t turned all our stuff in to her yet. 😉
Yes, we have and it is sitting and waiting for our move to Japan,lol.
We filed the first week of february and then received our return within a week and a half and have spent what we want out of it.

I hope hubs will get home to do it in time.

Ours are done. We’ve already gotten them back and spent the money.
I really don’t work, so I have no need to file taxes or anything of the sort-Although, I would love to get a refund check regardless…Anyone want to send me one!? LOL

No taxes done here yet. My 1099 was done incorrectly for work that I did and still waiting for that. Going to try to get hubby’s uncle everything that we need this week so they can get done soon.
Of course I have filed my taxes!! Ha Ha! I better have.
