I recently upgraded to the 4th generation Apple iPod touch and with that came a few design changes. The newest model now has a camera. This was great but it also meant I couldn’t use the protector from my last one now. I went on a search for a new protector and stumbled upon Agent18.
The Agent18 ClearShield for the 4th generation provides all of the protection with a barely there appearance. The translucent cover showcases the sleek design of the newest iPod touch, while shielding against the unavoidable bumps and scrapes of life.
My last case was all one piece which I liked but it was a pain to clean. It easily got stuff stuck in between my iPod and the case and when I took it off I couldn’t get it off. I would have to wait until Hubby could get it back on again. So when I saw that the Agent18 ClearShield I thought it was great that it was in two separate pieces so I could clean it out myself. I also liked it’s bright pink color so I could find it easily. My phone is black and it seems to just blend in with everything.
As you can see the case clearly stands out against the iPod. It covers all areas but the screen but is raised to keep it from smacking the ground should you drop it (which I do regularly).

I was expecting more of a translucent look from the website photos, but I was actually glad it was more bold in color as my objective was protection and to be seen. It easily snaps together and snaps apart I just kinda wiggle it and it easily comes off. My old case used to get a lot stuck under it and this case really doesn’t attract much so it doesn’t need to be removed often. Sometimes it will slightly separate and I just push it back into place but it never slides enough to fall off.
I can easily access all the buttons, camera, microphone, and plug-in without trouble. I never realized how bad my last case was with this until I had this one. It was impossible almost to turn off and with this its as easy as there being no case at all.
