This Sport-Brella has so many uses and so many places it can come is handy. Many times I dread going to my son’s soccer and baseball games because it is so hot out and my little one gets cranky easily once he’s hot. How nice to just set up and hang out underneath! When I was asked to review a Sport-Brella I have to admit at first I was a bit unsure about this product. That was until I used it! This was so much easier then I imagined to set up. In less then 5 minutes I had it set up as it in the picture below with both my boys in it. It comes with simple stakes that go into the ground so it can’t be blown around and the stakes have nice smooth surfaces so you don’t have to worry about stepping on them! As you can see the day I set it up it was a rather sunny day the boys were nicely shaded underneath it.
We also recently brought this out on the boat with us. It was great because it packs up so small and slim that we were able to place it along the side of the boat floor out of the way and then just carry it to the shore since it is extremely light weight. We were able to set it up and it was perfect when it came to Gavin’s nap time. Usually we struggle to get him down because we don’t really have anywhere for him to sleep. Last time he fell asleep inside a blow-up raft and we jimmied a towel so that the sun wasn’t on him. It was a HUGE pain in the butt. Not anymore though. Now we can enjoy lunch in the shade and just lay him down on a blanket underneath! It is a blessing! Packing it up isn’t as easy as setting it up. While I will state it was still less then 5 minutes to get it back in the carrier I sometimes struggle to get all the material from the tent sides in and require the help of my husband.
