There are a few cartoon characters who are a part of everyone’s childhood. Curious George is by far one of my favorites. I remember being a little girl and reading as many books as I could about all the crazy things that silly monkey did, and also laughing really hard. Curious George helped me love to read. When I became a mom I knew I wanted to introduce my kids to my favorite funny monkey. Both Hayden and Halli have read a bunch of Curious George books. We also love watching his TV show and other movies. Hayden was especially excited to find out that George was going to have a new movie! Curious George and the Man with the Yellow Hat have an amazing adventure in Curious George 3: Back to the Jungle that is now out on DVD and Digital HD.
Curious George is so excited to be part of a very important space mission. Of course on the while on the journey George does a little monkeying around. George has to crash-land in Africa. Curious George makes all sorts of new jungle animal friends and is reunited with the Man with the Yellow Hat. Together they have quite the adventure and help some of their new friends a long the way. The movie features the voice talents of Angela Bassett & John Goodman. It also has music by the Plain White T’s.
My entire family has absolutely loved this movie. My kids have asked to watch it multiple times. Curious George is so lovable and they love watching him explore the jungle. Halli especially loves seeing all the different animals that George meets. Curious George 3: Back to the Jungle has such a cute story and message. I have been teaching Hayden especially that it is important to be brave and try new things. This movie gave great examples of George and the Man with the Yellow Hat being brave.
We also really love the music. It is amazing and so fun to dance too! Halli is usually dancing around while we she watches it. Thankfully for her there are some great Sing-Along Bonus Features on the DVD. We have loved singing along with four of our favorite songs from the movie: Ordinary Superman, Welcome to Paradise, Beautiful Wild, and Together Forever.
