I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Starburst. I received product samples to facilitate my review and promotional item as a thank you for participating.
I’m a total summer girl. I live for the warm weather and the idea of it being gone makes me sad. The joy of having October right around the corner from summer is always what I need to pull myself out of the slump September gives me.
See, October is all about fall, colors, decorating, pumpkins, and the start of fall baking. The schedules pick up but so does the fun. When I was asked to make a craft with Starburst I gladly agreed! When my Starburst Candy Corn arrived and I saw that cupcakes were on the list I jumped at the opportunity to have some fun with my children!
To celebrate and inspire people to join in on the Halloween season, Starburst Candy Corn partnered with entertaining guru, mom and TV personality, Tori Spelling, to create Tori’s Tasty Tips for Halloween Entertaining!
Starburst is bringing its fans an exciting new twist on one of their favorite candies this Halloween with the introduction of Starburst Candy Corn, a sweet new treat that will liven up Halloween with the same bright, juicy flavors and colors found in Starburst Original fruit chews, combined with the iconic shape and texture of candy corn. Starburst Candy Corn is available at retailers nationwide for a limited time only during Halloween, from August through October 2013.
Johnny made the cupcakes all by himself. He loves to bake and jumps at any chance to use the stove these days. Gavin loves being able to play with the frosting and candies. Sawyer just enjoyed watching and eating the cupcakes. We had so much fun sitting around the table decorating cupcakes!
Make sure to check out the new Starburst Candy Corn that’s only out for a short while longer and then head on over to the Starburst Facebook page to see more of Tori Spelling’s awesome craft ideas. She makes all sorts of fun crafts like jewelry, place settings, and more!
This looks like something my 3 year old would have a blast with.
I have never heard of Starburst Candy Corn, but it sounds yummy. I love candy! The cupcakes are cute with the candy corn on top. Really adorable!
This is such a fun & creative idea, I am totally licking my lips right now! I love the picture of your boys making these delicious treats together. Thanks for another great idea!

These are so stinkin cute!! I really want to try to do some crafty things like this for Halloween!
What is wrong with you? That’s not nice at all! Poor Sawyer wants to do one too… of course he may get a little on his adorable face… and eat half… most of it, and some may go in his hair… floor… tossed at his brothers… ummm…. boy, look at Johnny & Gavin really seriously making those adorable cupcakes, and Sawyer is looking on so clean and handsome! ~snicker-snicker~ Thanks for sharing. I may try these with my granddaughters when they come over. Too cute.
Cupcakes are one of my favorite cupcakes and these Starburst Cupcakes are so cute! I would love to make these and have them as a dessert for Halloween. My niece could help me make these and we would have so much fun making.
What a great idea for the kids to get involved in the kitchen. This is going to be next weekend’s project!
