As you know I started running this year. I started out just walking and have progressively stepped up my game. I’m not great by any means but I’ve gotten myself down to a 12 minute mile. There’s definitely been some struggle and definitely a lot more gained. I’ve pushed boundaries already that I didn’t think I could do and I’ve pleasantly kicked my own butt on several occasions.
And it made me smile.
Not just any smile either. It was an ear to ear grin. And the farther I pushed my last best, the bigger my grin got. I never thought I could run a mile straight before but I can. I never thought I could run period. It really came down to mind over matter. Well, that and a great pair of running shoes.
I didn’t really believe in myself when I started. I didn’t want to invest in anything new and in return I was uncomfortable. I used old sneakers I never really wore before and likely weren’t even running shoes. I bought them because I thought I should have sneakers and they were pink. I know. I know.
Thanks to the boys needing new sneakers I found myself on vacation in a Reebok Store trying on some sneakers. In my mind I had my eyes on a completely different brand but the sale was too good not to take advantage of these and I ended up with Reeboks for the first time in my life. From the first run I ran in them I knew they were going to be my go to shoes. I love how good my feet feel in them and the added support my feet get in them. I was having really bad aches doing 2.5 miles and with these gorgeous Reeboks I’m now doing 4.5 miles four times a week. And my feet never hurt. I’m definitely a #ReebokMom now.
I have done a lot of reading that you should replace your shoes every few month if you’re actively putting a lot of miles on your shoes so I’ve been scoping out my next pair. I’m exclusively looking at Reeboks. When I heard that Famous Footwear carried a great line of Reebok running shoes I headed down to my local store. They had a great selection of running shoes from many top brands. They also had really cute casual and dress shoes!
Famous Footwear is a great stop for all your families needs as they have shoes for the whole family. Great place to get all those back to school needs taken care of too when you’re grabbing that new pair of Reeboks for that peaceful run when they head back.

Once upon a time I used to run. I’d love to get back into it! A fancy pair of reebooks just might be the motivation to get me going again! Fun post!

I love the bright colors in the shoes and Reebok has some wonderful shoes. I didn’t know they were suppose to be replaced after a few months if used often…yikes

I love all their new colors! Their shoes are one of the only brands that my arch supports fit in.
I just had my second back surgery and pray to God this is it and no more pain. After the rehab and the rest I’m going to get back in shape and lose. I have equipment somewhat. I have a daughter who is an LPN and we;re going to do this together so mama can have her life back and no more being treated like an invalent. I hate that,. My neurosurgeon says I must have good shoes so these surely look like the best ones for me to have. I want to lose 100 lb and by golly if I got to take these boys down with me they;re doing too!

I really like Reebok’s they’re so comfortable and great for the whole family.
I’ve always worn Reeboks. I love all the color combos in their latest styles. I’m terrible about replacing my shoes – the trouble is the outside of the shoe looks OK but the inside isn’t giving the right support. When I do manage to get new sneakers, I do feel the difference.

These Reebok shoes look awesome! I particularly like the dark grey one with turquoise and pink ๐ working out in pretty looking shoes always feels better. ๐

I love the different styles and colors that Reebok has to offer, I also love that the prices aren’t ridiculous, especially when I have to replace my shoes all the time!
