I’ve been blogging for several years now but it wasn’t until last year that I decided I needed to get monetized. I had unexpectedly lost my job. The amount of my unemployment wasn’t enough. I didn’t know where to start so I turned to my fellow bloggers that had already monetized. There was one company they all kept hearing about was the BlogFrog.

I wasn’t sure about the process so I went ahead and visited www.theblogfrog.com and checked them out. If you’re a blogger looking to get connected make sure to read HERE.

From there I set up an account and started my own community. Shortly after I was contacted by one of the friendly staff members. They were asking if I had interest in being a Community Leader for the Random House Community.

Honestly, learning the system wasn’t that easy. It was something I was unfamiliar with. I felt really overwhelmed and lost. So I emailed the BlogFrog team. They were super fast emailing me back. They walked me through it all and when I stepped back and looked at it all I realized it really wasn’t as hard as I thought. After one blog post down I had it.

The Community Leader board was a short term program and it was fun. I’d love to see more opportunities like those to come around. It let me get rather personal with the brand. We had weekly chats, got to talk with several of their authors, and shared our own reading tips and issues.

I have also worked with them with brands to create recipes and issues close to my heart. BlogFrog has done a great job pairing me up with brands that aren’t just a perfect fit for me but also a perfect fit for my readers. They are always just an email away and have found that even ‘after hour’ emails get responses fast!

So, what are you waiting for? Why are you still reading this? Why aren’t you heading on over to join their team? And while you are there make sure to join my community!

  1. Though I signed up for Blog Frog and have a community, I am also lost!! I can’t find where to add content to my group, etc. Is there a good tutorial somewhere? …or will you add more info on how you found your footing? I am glad to know I am not the only one who felt overwhelmed.

I want to jump in and try it out, but have no idea how to start.
