Well, the past few weeks have definitely proved to me that I can never say never.
We already know I said I’d never be a dog owner and that I couldn’t stand dogs. Charlie proved me wrong though and I’m definitely head over heals for that precious little doggie who has stolen my heart!
Now, another never is no longer I never:
Ugh. I’m a Mini Van mom. There. I said it.
On a positive note it IS a sweet ride. I can’t tell you what it doesn’t have. I thought my Jeep was “fully loaded” but not next to this thing.
So never say never… because this happen, life happens. Sometimes it’s even a good thing!

Thats a pretty sweet looking mini van!
Life certainly does change things!
WAHOOOOO!! π Enjoy!
he is SOOO cute how could you NOT fall in love with him π and heck ya! that minivan is a sweet ride (I’ve got a grand caravan), way back when, I said I’d never own one either and I’ve had mine for almost two years now (got it when I was preggo with #3) and love it! LOL
it IS pretty snazzy π
We just bought a 1996 Chevy Express Van.. 12 passenger… when that van was being made my dream car was a Toyota Paseo LOL… 16 years and 7 kids later.. the van is now my dream car :O) I would LOVE your van but we wouldn’t all fit haha… yours looks almost too sporty to be a mini van though!
Puppies are always pricelss, but I love dogs, and I got your back girlfriend on the Mini-Van Mom because I’m a Mini-Van NaNee. There I said it too! We shall stand tall and honk when necessary!!! Luv ya girl~! pat pat on the belly! Almost…. woo hoo!!!!
So funny! I have always eaten my words when I say “never”. Charlie is so darn cute and I love the van!
I need a sporty minivan like that.
Yay! Congrats!!
Awww I love the Pup!!! Actually I love my Mini Van!!! Whenever i have to drive a car I hate hate hate it. I feel like I’m in a magic carpet I’m so close to the ground. Haha. Welcome to the lovely world of vans. π
Aww he’s so cute! And I’m a mini van mom too! I love my mini van and I’ve always wondered why people hate them. But I’m glad you like yours!
Charlie is just too cute! We gave into the mini van after our forth. I know how you feel
I had a mini van and after a couple years traded it for a car. But hubby had a suv, so we didn’t need 2 larger vehicles.
Congrats!
That looks just like my minivan! Is it a T&C? I love my mini van. It’s more comfortable than my SUV was. When my kids are older though I will switch back to a SUV. Right now it’s just logical to have a minivan.
@Dawn, It is a Town & Country! LOL I said the same thing! Once I don’t need all the car seats I’m going back to a SUV too!
On this I will say never. See, I drove an orange station wagon when I first learned to drive. That burned the minivan out of me for life.
My kids want a dog, but I keep telling them I clean up after enough poop! π I used to drive a minivan too, but since we decided we were done having kids, we downgraded. lol
Thanks for the linky don’t have much time to blog hop today because I just got called into work. Never owned a van, but when my kids were little my wife did all the running around, and I worked.
This mama WANTS a minivan. Hubby? Not so much, but I love how comfortable they are and all of the features. They’ve come a LONG way as far as looks too. Enjoy!
If I can ever accept the thought of car payments we will be getting a minivan.
Nothing wrong with having a van, that one looks pretty nice. And Charlie is adorable.
@Nolie my hubby refuses to do car payments too which is why I’ll never see a brand new car. This is a 2009 but paid in full π
Vans are very practical.. Once your kids get older it will be great to be able to haul them and their things around. Also, I love that dog.. so adorable. After I had my two Chow’s that I had to give to my ex when I had my first daughter, I have been avoiding dogs.. sadly, I am staying at my moms right now and she has 2… I don’t like them. I miss my chows. I don’t know if I will ever get over it.
I love my Mimi van!
I said I’d never do the whole mini van thing again (I was a mini fan mom at 21…not a good look) now I don’t care if my kids are smooshed in my Envoy like sardines I am never owning a mini van again lol
A dog AND a minivan? It’s been quite a life-changing year for you so far, hasn’t it?
Can I have Charlie?
I always swore I’d never drive a van – until I drove one and fell in love!!! lol
Oh boy, Welcome to the minivan mom world π
LOVE the puppy!!! I am still one of the moms saying “never” – I actually just went from an SUV to a cute little car. I cant imagine driving something any bigger than my car now lol
My Town & Country is an ’01 but it’s loaded, too. I’m ready to be done with minivans. LOL That puppy is adorable!! I’m thinking we’ll get another one this summer.
I try to never use the words “I’ll never. . .” because as sure as I say them I’ll do just what I said I wouldn’t.
I was just telling my husband how mini vans today are so not the ones from when we grew up with lol. What a beautiful puppy!
I just want to scoop up that little guy and smother him with love and kisses!
That face just demands it π
And I couldn’t agree with you more on the whole life happens thing-that is so very true.
I loved my mini van!! The kids loved all the space too. That is a sweet ride for a van though, so drive it proudly!
That little dog is so cute! Plus I want that minivan myself!
