Then I was asked to share about the new Lipton Green Tea Superfruits and saw all the different recipes on their site that you can make with these teas. Recipes with tea? It never even dawned on me that I could use it IN one of my recipes. It’s definitely something I want to try after I give birth next month.
I thought since I can’t cook with them right now and had no clue of the possibilities I’d share the ones that I definitely want to try out. Unfortunately, I noticed the site doesn’t have many photos of the recipes to share with you.
MANDARIN ORANGE & ALMOND TEA BISCOTTI

3 Lipton® Green Tea with Mandarin Orange Flavor Pyramid Tea Bags
1-1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1/3 cup almonds, toasted and coarsely chopped
1/4 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
2 Tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 egg
1/4 cup vegetable oil
Preheat oven to 325°. Spray baking sheet with nonstick cooking spray; set aside. Combine flour, almonds, sugars, cinnamon, baking powder and salt in large bowl. Beat in egg, oil and tea until blended. Shape dough into 10 x 3-inch log on lightly floured surface with floured hands, adding additional flour if needed. Arrange log on prepared baking sheet. Bake 30 minutes or until firm. Let cool 10 minutes on wire rack. Cut log into 1/2-inch-thick diagonal slices on cutting board with serrated knife. Arrange cookies, cut side down, on baking sheet.
