Wordless Wednesday! Give A kid Frosting!

My baby is turning 11. My oldest baby. Johnny.
When he turned 10 last year I struggled more then I did turning 30 in May. When did my baby grow up?

His friends party lands on his actual birthday on Saturday but we had a small family birthday this past weekend. When I asked him what kind of cake he wanted me to make he asked if HE could make his own cake. So he did. He even made the actual cake!

In the end he let Gavin and his cousin help decorate too but didn’t they do an awesome job?

My son turned 11 this year as well, I completely understand. As much as I struggled through my 30th this year realizing my lil’ boy has become a young man just blew my mind.

I don’t have an answer for you…I ask myself the same thing so often. I’ve even begun putting things away that he will need one day when he’s on his own.

    Ouch!
