I know I keep telling you how busy I am but with me skipping my Random Tuesday’s it doesn’t tell you much so I thought I would give an update on me.
Tuesday was Gavin’s last day of preschool. Today I am going into work late because we have his ‘Preschool Celebration’. Since when the sign up for food came home the week before I went to Wilton I was daring and signed up for 60 cupcakes. What was I thinking? I pulled it off though! I even used the fancy “1M Swirl” I learned at Wilton. Didn’t they come out pur–dee? Hubby says they are bakery worthy!
The kids and I have been having fun in the kitchen lately! We’ve made ABC and 123 sugar cookies. Let me tell you they aren’t as easy to make with cookie cutters as some make it seem. We’ve also made chocolate sprinkled frozen bananas, dipped chocolate strawberries, and more. Needless to say the kids are loving it.
If you follow me on facebook you know Johnny recently was bitten by this snake. It was pure craziness. You would think he would have learned. Nope. All he learned was to wear gloves. Now that he knows where they live (yes, there are multiple snakes!) he catches them daily.
We just had our driveway paved. We are now in the process of leveling out the land, getting sprinklers installed, and planting grass. There are people here around the clock. Hubs is in and out of work. It’s been sheer craziness. I’m so glad things are coming together though. I’ll show some updated pics soon:
We had the cement patio laid a few weeks ago and we’ve loved having it. The morning it was paved I went into work late and let the boys go into school late. They had so much fun watching how it was done.
It’s also my last week until I go on my summer hours at work. I cannot wait! Johnny’s last day is next Tuesday and while I’ll still have to work 20 hours a week it’s still beats the old schedule. I have so many fun things I want to do with the boys and share with you guys!
