So, for this week’s question:
Q: Have you ever had Grits? Did you like them? What did you put in them (if anything)?
A: If you’re from New England like I am you probably have never heard of grits. I know when we went to the Waffle House in Southern FL for the first time we had to ask what they were. The waitress just about died when I sprinkled mine with some sugar. I guess that’s a northern thing too.
I love grits. They are so yummy. When I came home and was talking to Dee on the phone I had to ask Johnny what they were called again. Dee just about died when she heard that not only was I clueless about grits but that I put sugar on them. I guess you’re supposed to put salt on them. I’m not a salt girl though. I don’t put it on anything as a condiment. Grits reminded me a lot of Cream of Wheat so I did what you do for that. Sugar.
