I bought rollerblades 2 weeks ago. They are still in the box. Hubby says ‘I’m so happy you’re getting so much use of you new, must have rollerblades” Gulp.
I just feel so silly. I’m worried I’m going to fall on my rear end. I don’t want anyone to see me either lol.
Thank goodness for good, honest people. Now that the weather is warming up we realized we all needed summer clothes. The boys barely fit in anything from last year. So we took a drive to some outlets about an hour away to go shopping. I found some great stuff for Gavin at Carter’s and the boys wanted sandals so Hubby took them over to another site.
We went to pay and I realized I didn’t have my wallet on me.
Worse part. I had just cashed a two week paycheck. I never made it to my other bank to deposit and it was all in my wallet. Plus, to make matters worse it wasn’t my purse. Just my wallet. I left it at the register. I didn’t have my ID in it because Hubby and I went out with friends the night before. Also, at least 30 minutes had passed.
I flew over to Carter’s. My heart was pounding.
I ran in the door and the cashier smiles at me and holds out my wallet without me even needing to ask. As relieved as I was to see it I was so scared it was going to be empty.
I look inside.
It’s ALL there.
I thank each one of you honest people.
