Weekly Recap! Cats & Dogs!

Since I last posted all it’s done is RAIN. It rained cats & dogs. Heck it was raining men.. I can’t remember the last time it rained so much for so long. It was over a week we were locked indoors and held inside. This also makes for some really restless kids as they can’t go out at school either!

Monday
The rain put the baseball field into swimming pool status and all games were canceled. The boys insisted they still play ball so we turned to the wii!

Tuesday
Still raining and out of boredom I scrubbed the fridge. Every piece, nook, cranny. It looks brand new again. It’s like Mtv Cribs. Like my food selection? Time to go shopping now.

Wednesday
More Rain. I went out today and got my new cube table and these baskets. This is my foyer. Behind me is my front door and there are stairs to my right and hallways on both sides where you see the wall edges. As you can see on the wall we never even finished painting this area. I’m going to paint it a dark share of green. I’m really excited to decorate this area.

Thursday
Still raining. These came in the mail today. A company I had a credit with sent them. I didn’t know what to get so I just got a bunch of batteries. It was weird to see them packaged like this. Never saw that before.

Friday
The sun peeked out a little throughout the day, but it still rained. I had to run out and get some flowers and strawberries when I had the chance! You can see here even when it stopped it wasn’t for long. The deck and the pavement here are still wet!

Saturday
My best friend is getting married soon and her wedding shower was today. Here she is with her sister. Her shower was great and she made out great! Yay!

Sunday
Finally! The rain stopped! This gave us a chance to finally get our gardens all ready! We even had a chance to plant some of our veggies so they can start growing in the ground. We have three gardens total but one is all Johnny’s and we don’t help him with it. We also have a few projects we’re working on right now. I’ll be sharing more on this later 🙂

How was your week?

I don’t think I will ever dry out. We have been inside all day today. It has been thunder storming before we woke up and 14 hours later it is still thunder storming. Our roads are washing out everywhere and the flood gates have been opened on the dam for the third time in two weeks. They had not been opened for over a year and half prior to this wet rainy Spring. I am ready for some sun and warm weather to dry everything out.
