I Have No Power!

We were hit with quite the snow storm Tuesday night. We received over a foot of wet heavy snow. This caused trees and power lines to go down all over town. My entire town was actually out as of yesterday morning. Not only was our town out but every town surrounding us as well! I couldn’t go anywhere to jump online or even take a shower!

Since we run on a well for water we actually have no water as well! Not a drop! So we have no have no lights, no water, no electricity, no heat, no nothing! The boys did incredibly well when it went dark at around 4:30pm last night! I need to invest in some sort of battery operated light. Anyone have any recommendations?
We only had 2 candles for light. After we lost our home to a fire 3 years ago we didn’t invest in any as we are very opposed to any kind of flame around us. Luckily we received those as gifts or we would have been lightless, besides Gavin’s Handy Manny flashlight!

So, if I’m not around please know we are on day 2 of NO electricity and our electric company is telling me they still have no estimation as to when it will go back on. Hopefully we don’t freeze to death before then! If you are a company trying to get in touch with me I have very limited access to internet and will return emails as soon as possible.
