Why is New Year’s in the winter. You feel all inspired to get out and get healthy…but seriously who wants to do that in the snow and cold.

I’ve been trying to think of a great idea for handmade Valentine’s for the boys.

I was looking for ideas in craft books and went to Michael’s for supplies and came across the cutest Valentine Mailboxes. They had Puppies & Frogs. I got one of each and thought the boys could pick which one they wanted.

What’s wrong with me?
Of course I should have just picked one and gotten two of the same because they both wanted the Puppy! Back I went to exchange the frog.

We had so much fun making them. It was nice that it came with pretty much everything but glue. I used a scrabooking glue runner instead.

This also made it easier for Gavin to participate.
Aren’t they cute?
Now we just need the Valentine’s to hand out. Wednesday after school we’ll make something.
~I’m making cupcakes inside ice cream cones for their parties.

How is everywhere getting hit with these record falling snow storms yet I live in New England and haven’t had more then 3 inches fall at once.
What’s up with that? While I don’t miss it if I have to deal with this crazy cold at least give me some pretty snow.

I just went shopping to do a bunch of baking this week. I can’t wait to share all the recipes I’ve been planning on making.
I need to find someone to eat it all. I want to learn to make them. only.

I’ve been reading a bunch of posts on bathroom humor lately.
They have actually been really funny. I’ve loved having the time to read everyone’s blogs once again. I don’t always leave comments…but I try.
