What do I mean? I mean anything on a bloggers site should never just be right clicked and saved just because you can.

Not to mention pretty recognizable. Yet I have people taking them and placing them on their own sites. In the past couple weeks I’ve also had my ad buttons taken too. Even if I don’t stumble upon your blog, someone will and believe me people talk.
Just last week I was tweeted by another blogger to let me know she discovered my buttons on another blog. Yet this time it was on another review site that had a page rank of 3/10 and a complete WordPress layout and whatnot. I was so upset as this was not a newbie making an accidental mistake. I emailed her and tweeted at her asking her to remove my buttons. Then I went back to her site and realized I also recognized other buttons. For haha’s I clicked on it and it brought me to her photobucket account where she has lifted EVERY thing off my site.
When I then contacted her and stated it was not okay to steal my buttons and that they had been designed specifically for me this was my response through twitter:

I did not intentionally “steal” Your button as you put it-I have 4 others who work on my blog aswell-I have mentioned this to them - I fixed the problem-and I don’t just go and “Steal” from others blogs-I have blogged for 5years now-I am truley sorry for the mistke!

If you are a newbie I am hoping this clarifies it for you so that you do not have to deal with something like this. If you are not new you really should know this by now. As a product reviewer for the company I am given permission to lift photos of their products off their sites and use them to represent their product. Taking a photo that I took of the product is property of me, not the sponsor. Also, if you ever take a photo off the site you need to note or link back to where you took it from. Every photo on my site will always link to the source.
I’m not trying to sound harsh but its starting to happen a lot lately! Not just myself but with others. If I can prevent another blogger from having their unique look taken from them then this post was worth it.
