Who are you?
My name is Ranja Lee. I am a stay-at-home mom with two children. I was born in Japan.
I started to sew when I was in high school. I studied at the Vantan Design Institute in Tokyo and worked the children clothing company as a clothing designer for several years in Tokyo. I moved to Los Angels in 1994, and studied Graphic Design at the California State of University Fullerton.
Now, besides taking care of my kids, I love to design and sew bags and children accessories with my joy and inspiration. I hope you can enjoy with my piece of art!!

How did you come up with your Etsy store name?
I believe every woman is “Charm” at any age!
I hope my bags make women feel more happy and prettier!!!
Also, my bags made helping or becoming a motivation to discover their own beauty!
So, I named my shop is “Charm Design“.

3 years. Since I started ETSY….

What is your favorite bag?
All my bags are my favorite… So, I can not pick one.
However, zipper pouches are very popular now at my shop.
Bird in Forest (Brown) – 2 ways Hands-free Style Shoulder Bag
I had the pleasure of trying out the Bird in Forest bag above!!! Let me tell you about this shoulder bag. I think its is the nicest bag I have ever owned. Seriously. The quality of this bag is better then bags I have purchased at the GAP! Ranja pays incredible detail to every part of her bags! The stitching is immaculate! The Strap is removable if I were to use it as a clutch. There is a magnetic snap inside to keep it closed, along with a side pocket. There are little leather pieces holding the strap clips on. I really can’t speak enough about this bag. I have only been using it a week and I have already received several compliments on it!
