Rizzoli & Isles Season One on DVD

Have you watched Rizzoli & Isles on TNT Drama? I have to be honest that before I started working on this project I hadn’t even heard of the show. Now, I’m so glad I did. Of course I love any show based out of Boston. I also love any show with Angie Harmon. I have loved watching her on TV ever since she was the main character on a Lifetime movie. Now, she plays Jane Rizzoli, a homicide unit detective.

Tough & smart. Edgy & humorous. Rizzoli & Isles. Angie Harmon and Sasha Alexander star as combative, working-class Boston detective Jane Rizzoli and cool, cerebral medical examiner Dr. Maura Isles in an exciting police procedural with a compelling point of view, based on the bestselling novels by Tess Gerritsen. The two women have each other’s backs as they investigate their city’s grittiest and most puzzling homicides, from the Back Bay to back alleys. The high-caliber supporting cast includes Lorraine Bracco (The Sopranos) as Jane’s overprotective mom. Some best friends shop together, some meet for Mojitos, some join book clubs. Rizzoli and Isles bust crime.

Rizzoli & Isles, a TNT drama series starring Angie Harmon as police detective Jane Rizzoli and Sasha Alexander as medical examiner Dr. Maura Isles, is based on the Rizzoli/Isles series of mystery novels by Tess Gerritsen. Tess was quoted as saying that the adaptation was a dream come true

Could you imagine my blog being a TV show? It would be complete craziness. It would cover so many areas it would have to be a talk show of some sort. It would cover everything from recipes and home decor to new and exciting products. With a talk show I’d still be able to constantly tell you about how head over heels I am for my boys and constantly show updates on them.

V: Season One Now Available on DVD!

Still in need of a last minute holiday gift? The Complete First Season of V is now available on DVD! Never heard of it before? It’s the ABC hit tv show where visitors from another planet come to Earth. They seem friendly and helpful, but are they really?

About The Show:

First there was rumbling. Then, darkness filled the sky. The Visitors have arrived. FBI Counterterrorism Agent Erica Evans (Elizabeth Mitchell) stares in disbelief at one of the 29 massive alien ships hovering over the major cities of the world. A video image of the beautiful High Commander, Anna (Morena Baccarin), is seen from above. She soothingly says, “Don’t be frightened. We mean you no harm.” That’s a relief.
The Visitors spread their message quickly and clearly: They come in peace, bearing gifts of medical miracles and technological breakthroughs far beyond our wildest imaginations. Through their Peace Ambassadors program, the Visitors have built a loyal following. But not everyone trusts the V’s. There are those who believe they are strategically arming themselves with a very powerful weapon: Devotion.

Sounds Interesting doesn’t it?

I don’t know how I’d react if something like this were to happen in real life. I’m definitely someone who is paranoid about everything and something like this would just give me goose bumps all over. Since it’s clear they are trying to interact I would definitely do the ‘keep your friends close, but your enemies closer’ type deal. This way I wouldn’t be in the dark about what was going on around me. I think the fact that look like you and me would really unnerve me. I would start getting really paranoid about every new person I met. I’d wonder if they were a V or just a regular person.
My husband on the other hand is so close minded he wouldn’t even entertain the though he simply said – It would never happen. But… what if it did!

If you haven’t seen the first season make sure to pick up the Complete First Season of the V now and catch up so you’ll be ready to tune in January 4th when the V returns on ABC.

I Refuse To Be Wrong! You?

Kathryn Peale, the product of a New England background and a sheriff father, is the Deputy Bureau Chief in the New York State District Attorney’s office. Jimmy Brogan, born and raised in Hell’s Kitchen and a friend of Kathryn’s since their days at Yale Law School, is one of New York’s rising criminal attorney stars. Buoyed by their respective teams, these evenly matched lawyers — each with a strong streak of competitiveness, a fervent belief in their clients and an equally intense passion for the law — go about creating two different stories from the same set of facts. As this up-close, behind-the-scenes look at the legal process mirrors the excitement of a great championship match, it becomes evident that truth has nothing to do with innocence or guilt — at the end of every trial, the only thing that matters is what the jury believes.

I love a good debate. Okay forget it, I don’t even like playing it by the rules. When I strongly believe in something or feel that I’m right I’ll do what ever it takes to make sure I get point across. I’ll argue it until I can no longer argue it or I’ll do whatever it takes to prove it.

That’s the way it is for Kathryn and Jimmy on ‘The Whole Truth‘! They are always on opposite ends of the court room fighting the opposite battles. They fully believe in the battles and cases they are fighting for and will go to all lengths to find their answers.

What’s rough is finding out you’re wrong. While none of us like to admit we’ve been wrong. Especially when we fought so hard on being right. Imagine being Kathryn and so strongly believing in someone’s innocense. Fighting from within with such emotion and then finding out someone was a cold heartless killer.

If you haven’t been watching “The Whole Truth” on ABC Wednesdays at 10/9 C you need to tune-in. I know it’s almost a full week away but go set your DVR! You’ll be glad you did!

ABC’s The Whole Truth – Wednesdays 10|9c – You Are Watching, Right?

Have you been checking into the all new series called ‘The Whole Truth‘ on ABC? If not then make sure tonight you tune in! You can find it on Wednesdays 10|9c! I saw the previews for this and when I saw that Maura Tierney was one of the main characters I knew I love it. I am a long time fan of hers from when she was on ER as Abby and love her in several movies as well! The Whole Truth is a great show if you love shows such as Law & Order or CSI. You get to see the action, the lawyers, and the court room. What makes this show different? At the end of the show you get to learn the truth! The Whole Truth! Most shows leave you knowing only what they want you to believe or end it however the court decides. You have an emotional connection but you never really know the whole truth! For instance last week we knew the real killer owned a Chicago Cubs hat but we didn’t know who it belonged to until the very end when he was home.

Kathryn Peale, the product of a New England background and a sheriff father, is the Deputy Bureau Chief in the New York State District Attorney’s office. Katheryn and Jimmy have quite the relationship in this show. At one minute they seem friends and then the next they are at complete odds…which makes sense since they work on complete different sides of the law. Did you know my best friend started out as my enemy? In high school we completely hated each other. We were always on different sides of the fence and often going after the same things! Like Katheryn and Jimmy we both feel strongly about the things we are passionate in and fight for what we believe in with our hearts! We know have learned to find strength in being a team versus fighting each other and have become the best of friends over the years!

If ‘The Whole Truth’ sounds interesting to you then you need to make sure to tune in tonight and every Wednesday @ 10|9c on ABC!
