Joovy – 2010 Ultralight Caboose Tandem Stand-On Stroller Review!

Joovy Family Gear has many great products for your children that will make your life as a parent easier and your child’s more enjoyable. They have great options such as fashionable and practical strollers, playards, highchairs, and toys.

The new Ultralight Caboose is the lightest, most maneuverable tandem stroller available on the market today.

At 21 pounds the Caboose Ultralight is 20% lighter than the original Caboose and far lighter than most double strollers.

When we say maneuverable, we mean it! The Caboose Ultralight can navigate narrow spaces with ease. The large, sealed ball bearing wheels give your children a smooth ride and you’ll find it is super easy to push. And thanks to its minimal weight, you can steer with just one hand!

Kids absolutely love the independence and “cool” element the Caboose offers. The patented Stand-On-Tandem design gives your older child the freedom to choose between walking, standing and sitting. Parents tell us this single feature alone has given their child a head start at developing a healthy independence – a “win-win’ for both parents and kids alike.

The Caboose Ultralight offers a cool, modern style and its tough 600D nylon fabric is available in rich, vivid colors: Blueberry, Orangie, Greenie, Brownie and Black.

Offering families options and flexibility, the Joovy Ultralight Caboose is a great investment for your growing family.

I have tested my fair share of strollers. Between the many I’ve reviewed here for J. Leigh Designz and I purchased roughly 3 strollers PER child. That’s a lot of money, and a lot of strollers. Personally I just never found a stroller that fit an infant needs and wasn’t so bulky that when you got to toss the infant car seat you would want to keep.
That was before I tested the 2010 Ultralight Caboose Tandem Stand-On Stroller.
When it arrived it came all in one box and didn’t require that much assembly.
Once again my 9 year old built it. If he can…then you can.
This stroller has all the benefits many lightweight strollers do.
However, it has more too!
I love the removable and machine washable parent organizer!
It slides over the handlebar and holds so much I can chose to leave my purse behind if I wanted too. Look how much I have in it!
It also has a child tray. I don’t like when strollers don’t have this! My kids have always had a sippy cup or wanted a snack and the tray is a huge help! I love the different depths making the food stay center. There are no tight areas making it easy enough to clean by just wiping it down with a baby wipe. The child tray easy removed with just a push of the finger on each side. I love that anything that requires adjusting of any kind is bright red. They also do a great job at covering it.
The infant car seat adapter is included when you purchase the 2010 Ultralight Caboose Tandem Stand-On Stroller and it’s compatible with many infant car seats. For a complete listing you can check here.
It also has a large storage basket. I love when stroller companies don’t forget that us Mom’s have lots of stuff we need to lug around with us. The 2010 Ultralight Caboose Tandem Stand-On Stroller provides plenty of space and even has easy access side pockets for extra toys, a few diapers, package of wipes, etc.
A good stroller can always recline so your child has the option to recline. The 2010 Ultralight Caboose Tandem Stand-On Stroller doesn’t have just one position recline but THREE position recline! The full size canopy easily adjusts to however you’re using this stroller. I just have it up so you can easily see the recline.
The best part of this stroller!!!
It has a seat on the back!!!
It has a 5 point harness for safety too! Plus, the seat is padded so you know your child’s bottom won’t be sore after a long day somewhere.
Gavin refuses to go into the front seat of any stroller now. If he gets a choice of which stroller he wants- he runs straight to this one! And why wouldn’t he? This allows him to be a “big boy” and get up and out to see things with us but take a break and rest his little legs when he needs to.
I admit I don’t often strap him in but he’s older then a smaller child so he loves to stand up and make it a fun ride. I love that this stroller has these strong padded handles that are there to help your child get in and out of the stroller.
The stroller folds right down and is easily stored. It doesn’t have the ability to stand up on its own like other strollers, but that’s because other strollers spend their time in the garage and this one needs to lay down in your trunk.
You can purchase the 2010 Ultralight Caboose Tandem Stand-On Stroller for $249 on sale with FREE shipping and a free parent organizer from Joovy!

Graco – Alano™ FlipIt™ Stroller – Make More Eye Contact {Review}

Graco makes a wide selection of top picked baby gear that you’ll find on almost every baby registry around. The name is well known and trusted by Mom’s everywhere. I knew all about the wonderful baby gear that Graco made but was recently introduced to a baby stroller that did something I’ve never seen before!

Let me introduce you to the Alano™ FlipIt™ Stroller by Graco. The Alano™ FlipIt™ reversible handle stroller is designed to help you and baby connect comfortably, safely, and happily-as your heart knows it should. It allows you to use the stroller in the normal forward facing view when your child wants to look around.
The Alano™ FlipIt™ Stroller also allows you to flip the handle over to let you converse or gaze at your baby too! I remember when my boys were smaller and not wanting to pull out the infant seat all the time but I didn’t want to give up the ability to watch them. With the Alano™ FlipIt™ Stroller you don’t have to choose one way or the other! It lets you have both!
It still has all the amazing features that other Graco Strollers have as well!
It has a stylish print. It provides a deluxe padded seat with multiple positioning for reclining to any angle your child finds comfortable. It doesn’t lock you into 2 or 3 settings.
I really like that it comes with a coordinating removable infant padded seat insert.
It has a generous sized snack tray with a spot to hold their bottle or sippy cup. It easily opens with one hand so that older children can easily get in and out of the stroller.
It also has a generous sized basket that holds your full sized diaper bag and still has room for plenty of shopping bags! The picture doesn’t have the sides snapped up like it should. It is more then secure on the sides. The basket also folds down so that you can easily fit large items without disturbing your child.
The front wheels fully swivel for smooth, easy access for everywhere you need to go. There is also a child’s foot rest so they don’t rest them on the wheels.
I love how the handle easily height adjusts. My husband can’t stand when he has to push a stroller that forces him to hunch over. This easily let’s anyone comfortably fit the handles to their personal comfort. You can also see the parent cup holder that is attached to the stroller and easily snaps back in forth depending on which way you have the handlebars. It also has a simple button and twist to close. Many strollers state they are one handed to close but this is one of the only strollers that I’ve actually been able to do this with only ONE hand.
It also has the most generous sized parent viewing window I’ve seen on any stroller.
You can see that it folds down to a slim size and I like that it can also stand upright on its own. I store my strollers on the side of my garage when I need the space in the back of my car and I don’t like when I have to lay them down.
I really like the Alano™ FlipIt™ Stroller! While testing out the Alano™ FlipIt I didn’t find any problems or dislikes. At first I wasn’t found at how large the canopy was but after using it more I realized it allows the child to be better shielded then others without having to fully shut them out. I always disliked having to shut out my children because to get them covered meant I had to pull the canopy down because it didn’t come out.
Since pictures can never show you perfectly how easily this stroller maneuvers I found this great video that Graco made. It will show you how simple it is to switch back and forth. The weight limit for this stroller is up to 50 lbs! Which means it could still handle a 3 to 4 year old making it a stroller you could use for the entire length of time you’d need a stroller!

You can purchase the Alano™ FlipIt™ Stroller from Graco for $149.99.
You can also purchase the coordinating SnugRide® Infant Car Seat for $159.99 for Graco as well. It also fits any of Graco’s great line of Infant Car Seats. There are also several different Alano™ FlipIt™ Travel Systems available as well. There are several stylish prints for you to chose from.

Bumbleride All-Terrain Jogging Stroller – Exceptional Quality – Review!

When we went to Disney we brought our stroller with us for Gavin, sadly by the time we returned the thing was unusable so when I got the email telling me I’d have a chance to review a Bumbleride All-Terrain Jogging Stroller I was ecstatic. I don’t think at the time I realized just what a great stroller I was about to receive!
The Indie Stroller is available in a choice of 5 colors: spice (orange), seagrass (green), vita (pink), lava (black), and ruby (red). I chose lava so that when we have baby #3 this stroller will fit either a boy or a girl. It came pretty much fully together. I only had to attach a few of the accessories and wheels. Standard accessories in the Indie Stroller are:

The fabric material this stroller is a canvas like thick material. It can easily be spot cleaned and when I spilt water over the shade it beaded up like it had some sort of waterproofing to it. The handle is great because it is multi-adjustable allowing you to move it from 32″ to 45″. This allows it to be comfortable for both me and my husband. He really can’t stand using a stroller that requires him to remain hunched over. Plus, the handle has a great grip to it and I like that it goes all the way across allowing me to hold it in however feels comfortable to me.
The footrest for the child is also adjustable to all different lengths. Making it possible for your child to have their feet up or down. Or if their smaller keeping their feet from just dangling.

I also received the Snack Pack accessory with it. You can see Gavin below unzipping it because I stuck some goldfish and a juice box inside. This is a great feature since it covered and it has separate compartments. It also has an easy to clean waterproof sealed fabric liner. It comes with its own separate adaptor bar making it easy to attach it on and off the stroller. The snack pack easily attaches with velcro. It comes in all the colors available for the Indie, Indie Twin, and Flyer strollers so it can perfectly match your stroller.
My favorite part of this stroller are the wheels! These wheels move smoother then any stroller I have tried ever! You can see from the pictures that I have a gravel driveway and most strollers I use have to be carried to the street if we want to go for a walk because they can’t handle the rough terrain. Not the Indie Stroller it moves over any surface I’ve tried it on smoothly not bothering Gavin in it or bouncing him all around. It does curbs much easier as well. Small inclines like moving from the gravel to the cement garage flooring thats 2 inches up I don’t even need to tip the stroller back. It goes up it like it wasn’t an issue. The front wheel pivots incredible nicely and while it took a bit to get used to that the back wheels are outside the stroller versus under it I found it was easier to move quickly while offering more of a sturdier support.
Another part of the stroller I was impressed with was its large basket size. The basket on this stroller is huge! We took this stroller to the mall and I was impressed that it fit almost all of our back to school shopping underneath for both boys! We just had to carry the shoe boxes! My last stroller we sacrificed the basket size thinking we couldn’t get a great stroller with the all the extras and I have to admit this stroller proves all my logic wrong.
It comes with a cup holder for me as well. I like that it allows for any size beverage. It simply expands for larger cups.
The brake feature is the easiest I’ve seen as well. It has an easy one step bar. In order to kick in the rear brakes I can simply tap it with my foot to make park it. Plus to release it i can easily use the top of my shoe. I can’t stand when i had to bend over and fight to release my brakes on my old stroller.
Folding this stroller down is so simple. I love that it folds right in half allowing it to use less space. I do, however, have to keep it on its side because of the width of the back tires, otherwise it will not fit in the back of my Jeep.
My overall opinion on this stroller:

When I first told hubby that I was getting a Bumbleride All-Terrain Jogging Stroller valued at $459.99 he laughed. He said there was no way he would ever purchase a stroller that cost that. In the back of my head I actually agreed. I’m sure most of you are actually agreeing with that now as well.
If you agree with that statement I highly encourage you to find a retailer or someone who owns one before purchasing a different brand. Once this stroller arrived both my husband and I had a completely different opinion once we were really able to touch, feel, and test out this stroller. The quality of the material, the smooth ride it offers. This is a quality stroller in a completely different category then other strollers. It has so many features that allow this stroller to mold not only to your own child’s specification but to yours as well. This stroller works great for every day needs but can allow allow you to take it for a jog or hike in areas that other strollers can’t ever go. Plus, it works with several different car seat models allowing you to make as functional as possible!

Bumbleride Indie is not your average All-Terrain Stroller. Weighing a slim 20 lbs., Indie combines the off-road ability of a multi-terrain stroller with the lean agility of an urban jogger and features a 360 degree swiveling front wheel with forward and rear facing locking positions. Indie is suitable for newborns and toddlers using a multi-adjustable reclining backrest. Ready to tackle any terrain, Indie comes standard with rear suspension, a height-adjustable handle, large storage basket and removable cup holder.

Standing Dimensions: 36L 24.5W 34.5H
