Weekly Recap

I was really looking forward to a relaxing summer. Like, really looking forward to it. However I feel like every free moment we have something is scheduled and for at least the next five weeks look the same way. I’m sure that empty weekend will be full by then as well.

Monday
I drive this street and never noticed they had mini golf by how it was angled so we stopped, played a round, and got some ice cream.

Tuesday
Had fun at a small zoo and this billy goat was so funny to us. He kept jumping up trying to get Gavin.

Wednesday
We have been dealing with some tree damage and had a guy come and cut some of the higher damage that was stuck in other branches. This guy was insane to watch.  Can you find him?

Thursday
Gavin’s preschool party had a field trip to the firehouse and police station for some safety education.

Friday
I stayed up until 2am making almost 100 baseball cupcakes. It’s the end of the season and all the t-ball and baseball teams were coming together for a party.

Saturday
After staying up so late we woke up to pouring rain and the party was cancelled. SO we ended up going to the mall for the kids clothing and eating at Chili’s for dinner!

Sunday
We had the boys cousins birthday party. This cake was a homemade ice cream cake and it was SO good!

Weekly Recap Wilton & Chicago!

What a week. Lately I am feeling behind, overwhelmed, and tired beyond belief. Of course I’m tripping over my own two feet lately which doesn’t help. I know you’re waiting for some fun WIlton pics so here are some. I have tons to share with you and sadly a lot for a later time once new fun products are being released that I had to swear to keep a secret to get to play with.

Skipping Monday because I included it into last week’s Weekly Recap since it was a long weekend.

Tuesday
Horrible shot I know but it is the only non product picture I took that day. I was crazy busy trying to wrap things up before I left for Chicago but wanted some time with the boys so I brought them out for ice cream YUM!

Wednesday
We arrived in Chicago. Little did I know my home area in Western MA was being ripped apart by tornado’s.  Luckily while I was freaking out trying to locate my family I had a great party to attend at the VP of Marketing’s house.

Thursday
WILTON TENT SALE BABY!
Can we say I just can’t control myself? For the record I did NOT spend the most!!
*This total was before The employee discount & gift card Wilton generously gave us.

Friday
We all got the first copies of the 2012 Wilton Yearbook. Since they only had 25 in print at the moment we felt very special getting autographed copies! This cake is amazing and I’ll be doing a post all about it so you can see just how amazing it really is!

Saturday
Even though I didn’t get home until around 4 am my boys still had baseball & tball first thing in the AM. If that wasn’t tiring enough I also had a birthday party. As tired as I was I still would have had a ball to get 5 mins running around this place.

Sunday
I was so worn out from very little sleep over the past week, I found my lawn chair in the backyard and Gavin and I played (and finished) the Where’s Waldo game for the iPad.

So there you have it my week in review. How was your week?

Weekly Recap! Summer Fun!

I hope everyone enjoyed their long weekend! My family hardly spent anytime in the house. We spent our days in the gardens and waterslides and the nights by campfires making s’mores! I leave tomorrow to go back to Wilton in Chicago and visit the tent sale with all my Wilton ladies so this week will be a little slower since I haven’t had much prep time.Hope everyone had a wonderful long weekend with their family!

Monday
As you know I have several gardens around the yard, what I haven’t told you is that Johnny has his own garden that he is completely responsible for. He does a great job in the beginning but usually stops weeding it and taking care of it and it starts dying. This year I’m determined to keep him on it.

Tuesday
We had some review items show up and the boys started playing with them immediately. They loved giving themselves big heads with this one.

Wednesday
It was cooler out again so we grabbed some paint and some flower pots and got busy. The boys will be growing their own sun flowers (kid size) in these.

Thursday
As you know this is a day to get stuff done for me since I don’t have the boys. Hubby helped me set up and I got started on my first DIY. Bet you can’t guess what I’m doing!

Friday
We kicked off the holiday weekend with lit tiki torches and a campfire. We made s’mores making it our official start of summer! We also did this every single night of the weekend.

Saturday
It was so nice and hot this weekend the kids never wore actual clothes and lived in their suits. We broke out the pool and slip’n'slide!

Sunday
Hubby finally had a chance to start cleaning the boat to get it ready for the river!

Monday
We played with our waterslide bounce house this past weekend too!

Weekly Recap! Cats & Dogs!

Since I last posted all it’s done is RAIN. It rained cats & dogs. Heck it was raining men.. I can’t remember the last time it rained so much for so long. It was over a week we were locked indoors and held inside. This also makes for some really restless kids as they can’t go out at school either!

Monday
The rain put the baseball field into swimming pool status and all games were canceled. The boys insisted they still play ball so we turned to the wii!

Tuesday
Still raining and out of boredom I scrubbed the fridge. Every piece, nook, cranny. It looks brand new again. It’s like Mtv Cribs. Like my food selection? Time to go shopping now.

Wednesday
More Rain. I went out today and got my new cube table and these baskets. This is my foyer. Behind me is my front door and there are stairs to my right and hallways on both sides where you see the wall edges. As you can see on the wall we never even finished painting this area. I’m going to paint it a dark share of green. I’m really excited to decorate this area.

Thursday
Still raining. These came in the mail today. A company I had a credit with sent them. I didn’t know what to get so I just got a bunch of batteries. It was weird to see them packaged like this. Never saw that before.

Friday
The sun peeked out a little throughout the day, but it still rained. I had to run out and get some flowers and strawberries when I had the chance! You can see here even when it stopped it wasn’t for long. The deck and the pavement here are still wet!

Saturday
My best friend is getting married soon and her wedding shower was today. Here she is with her sister. Her shower was great and she made out great! Yay!

Sunday
Finally! The rain stopped! This gave us a chance to finally get our gardens all ready! We even had a chance to plant some of our veggies so they can start growing in the ground. We have three gardens total but one is all Johnny’s and we don’t help him with it. We also have a few projects we’re working on right now. I’ll be sharing more on this later :)
