Disney’s The Lion King *Now* on Digital HD and on Blu-ray Aug. 29th

One of my first memories of going to the movie theater was going to see the Lion King with my family. I absolutely loved all the music, the characters and the how funny it was. Now that I have gotten older I still love it, and I appreciate the message it teaches. It is one of my kid’s favorite movies, and we watch it often for family movie night. It is so fun watching them laugh at the parts I loved as a kid. Now Disney has released the Lion King as a part of their Signature Collection. You can watch it now with your family on Digital HD, and you can purchase it on Blu-ray August 29th.

The Lion King is the 5th Disney classic to join the Signature Collection. Now you and your family can fall back in love with feisty Simon, and laugh with Timon and Pumba all over again. Plus this new Signature Collection Blu-ray has over three hours of classic bonus material and exclusive,  brand new features.

Everyone has to own this classic. I remember seeing this in the movie theater when I was little.

These songs are some of Elton John’s best. I agree with him in that I believe he should have won the Oscar for Best Original Song for “Circle of Life”. I wish that PBS would air a full-length performance of the Broadway musical for fans who can’t make it!

  7. The lion king is a great movie.
