Brawny® Everyday Heroes – Are You Tough to the Core? #ToughIs

Tough. The word alone means something different to all of us. We’ve all had tough moments in our lives that have challenged us and some of us have had tougher moments than others. Some of us have had extremely tough lives that have forever changed our paths. I’m so happy to be kicking off a month long partnership with Brawny to discuss two really important campaigns! I’ll share more on each topic later on but I would love it if you would take just a few moments to see what they are about right now.

Brawny Tough

Brawny® Paper Towels and Wipes are tough and they know that we are too! I’ve been dealt some really tough situations in my life from being a teen parent to watching my home burn down in ’07. These life circumstances may have been things that could have knocked me down and made me feel overcome but instead I’ve used them to make me stronger. To dig my heels in and show life that even when things get tough I can be tougher.

  1. They’ve been doing this for a long time and I totally appreciate their commitment. I’ll text something in to trigger a donation!

You and Brawny hit the nail on the head. Our Military folks are as tough as they come. We live in a huge military area and we give locally but this is a quick way to give a little too.

  3. Mandi says

Love this and I agree, our military IS tough! We have several family members who are active duty right now, and several friends who are all over the country and world. Some of the bravest and strongest people we know.

  4. Kecia says

I agree, the word “tough” can have so many meanings to different people. It’s not always about physical strength. I’m glad to see Brawny working hard for our wounded warriors!

  5. The people in the military are tough but sometimes I think their spouses are tougher! I watch some of my friends take care of their children and their house and bills and other crap while their spouse is away and I can’t imagine having to do that. Then again, on the flip side, the people deployed miss every day moments with their kids. It’s got to be especially tough for those with infants since they grow so fast.

  6. Tough means doing what is required in spite of adversity. My mom is the toughest person I know.

  7. Pennywise Cook says

I love that Brawny teamed with the Wounded Warrior Project! Tough to me is strength whether physically or emotionally and mentally. The families of the soldiers are definitely tough and the soldiers themselves are obviously tough too!

  8. What a wonderful program. We really don’t do nearly enough for our vets.

  9. Stephanie says

What a great program. I don’t think we do enough for them!

  10. I love this campaign!! I am not tough, but my husband is! Tough to me means lasting and durable.

  11. Lee says

Going to get my phone now. I have a lot of opinions on what tough is and I can assure you none of the definitions have to do with muscle. <3

  12. I love how you talked about the military, they definitely are tough. I like Brawny too, they make awesome paper products. The wounded warrior project is a great initiative.

  13. I love when companies support our troops, yay Brawny! Tough is motherhood for sure!

  14. I hardly use paper towels, but Brawny has always been a wonderful brand that is seemingly unrivaled. Tough means facing life’s inevitable obstacles with integrity, humor, and a smile.

  15. I just love that Brawny gives back like this!

  16. I love this campaign! Everyone has had something {or many things} that forced them to be tough. It’s so great to be able to reflect on those {sometimes awful} moments and realize how far you’ve come.
