Football is a pretty big deal in my family. I grew up watching my little brother play football, and he tried to teach me how to follow along with the game, and throw a football. My husband was a sport star back in high school, he loves ESPN, and he loves everything about football. When we found out we were pregnant with Hayden my brother and hubby immediately started planning out his football career, and who his favorite teams would be. Fast forward to 5 years later and Hayden of course loves sports just like Uncle Travis and Daddy.

It has been huge help teaching Hayden some of the strategy and basics of football. Also, a little confession here….despite my brother’s best efforts I could never understand football. I am pretty much sports impaired. So this has been a fun game for me to learn with too! I have to know how to play because Hayden wants to play this all.the.time now. It is such a fun game! My 22 year old brother and Hayden have played the most and my brother has said multiple times “This is so fun!”… “This is so cool”… “Can I borrow this?”
After you grab 2 AA batteries everything you need to start playing is in the box and it sets up pretty easily. There is a FieldDrive™ Motion Generator that easily attaches to the bottom of the board. It makes everything vibrate so the players can play. It is pretty quiet so we can play while Halli is sleeping and not wake her up. There are 11 white and 11 red players, and 5 players on each team have a different “action position.” Hayden quickly noticed each position of the players and likes to copy them and pretend to be an actual player. There are also 2 Triple Threat Quarterback™ figures that can run, pass, and kick. There are also 6 felt footballs included. Those things are soooo tiny! I am so glad there are 6 because it is only a matter of time before we lose one. I wish they were a brighter color instead of white so they would be easier to find, but thankfully we haven’t lost any yet. The SpeedTurf™ Playing Field is super slick and smooth. All of the players easily glide across the top and have different speed or strength Invisibase™ cleats to help them play! All of the players also have numbers that you can choose for them to wear. Then you are ready to play! There is a remote with a button that makes the field vibrate. There is also a knob on the remote that controls the strength of the vibrations. It really looks like a real field and there is some serious football strategies that go down when all the boys are playing.
Hayden has had a blast setting up his team, and also learning basics of football. It is hilarious watching him play. Hayden does a little trash talk sometimes and even has his own touch down dance! He loves this game.
