Luma Comfort Air Purifier {Review}

The holiday season brings hot cocoa, cold temperatures, cute boots, Christmas music, and snow if you’re lucky(In TX we are NOT lucky, it was 80 degrees today).  This season also brings lots of runny noses, coughs, and sneezing.  We have already had a few colds at our house, thankfully none that have been too unbearable.  I am a pretty big germaphobe.  We hand wash all the time and I love the sweet, sweet smell of cleaning products.  When I learned about an amazing air purifier from Luma Comfort I was ridiculously excited!

The Luma Comfort AP400W Air Purifier showed up on our doorstop at the perfect time.  We have been painting our entire house and Hayden has had a cold with a wicked cough.  Our air purifier has been thoroughly tested and I LOVE it.  No one else has gotten his cold yet and it cleaned out any left over paint smells super quickly.

To set it up was really easy.  The only thing that I needed to do was to unwrap all of the filters, and the directions were easy to follow to put them all in the correct order.  I was using our new air purifier in minutes.  To turn it on is pretty straight forward.  Once it is plugged in you push the power button and choose your setting low, medium or high.  It also has a timer that can be set for 1 hour to 7 hours.  There is a UV light option that helps get rid of bacteria and other harmful things in the air.  The SmartClean filter life indicator will let me know when I need to replace the filters so I can always be purifying our air efficiently.

I was really impressed how fast the air started to smell fresh and not smell like freshly dried paint.  The low and medium settings are whisper quiet.  The high setting is noisy but it works really quickly to clean out any bad smells.

It has a great sleek design and doesn’t take up too much room.  For its size I was so impressed that is has a coverage area of up to 400 square feet.  It is also really light weight and I can easily move it from our living room into a bedroom.

The air purifier has a 5-stage purification system and is high-efficiency.  The 5 different filters(carbon pre-filter, HEPA filter, VOC filter, TiO2 filter and UV light) remove over 99% of indoor pollutants such as dust, pollen, animal dander, odors, mold, bacteria and viruses.

I love knowing that I am helping my family breathe easier, especially since cold and flu season is in full swing.  During the Spring I know that this air purifier will also really help with all of our allergies.  I have moved it from room to room depending on where we are and where it is needed.  It works great to get out those funky kitchen smells, in a general living room, or I put it in the room where my kids are playing.  Since it doesn’t take up very much room and it is so whisper quiet they don’t even notice it.  But my mind is at easy that they are breathing clean, and fresh air.

The Luma Comfort air purifier is so user friendly and purifies so efficiently.  It would be a great family gift or for anyone in your life. You can find where to buy on their site or from our affiliate Amazon.

    This is wonderful. I have actually been looking into getting an air purifier for a while now. I work in the emergency room for one, two- we have pets, and three- i try to keep the house fresh with the least amount of germs as possible. I also live with my Nana, and she is always home so I try and keep all of the bad out. I will definitely look into this one, thank you for your honest review.. this really helps us all out 🙂

    I need one of these Luma air purifiers because it seems that the sneezing and allergies get worse with all the dry blowing air. I think this model looks like it gets rid of all the allergens in the air!
