I’m a night owl.
Tell you something you don’t already know, right?
So when the morning rolls around its a real struggle. Luckily my boys are awesome and are great at getting me up. I know it’s supposed to be the other way around but my Gavin is an early bird and IS my morning alarm clock. Actually he’s everyone’s alarm clock. The next hour is a blur between taking care of the baby and getting the older two off to school. Once I’m home from dropping Gavin off (he doesn’t like the bus) and getting my morning chores out of the way its mid morning. It’s at this point I love to grab a nice hot cup of coffee.
Recently I’ve tried adding some hot foamed milk to my coffee. A lot of milk actually. If you take 2 parts hot whisked milk and one part coffee you’ll have a yummy, creamy morning latte.
Once you have your latte you’ll need to find a nice place to relax for a bit to enjoy. Once you’re relaxed you’ll need some reading material. To make the most of that short time frame our children sometimes let us have I’ll share you my morning must read blogs.
The Shopping Mama
As a review blogger I like to see what other review sites are up to and well, even all the way in Germany, Kate, the main mom behind ‘The Shopping Mama’ still runs an amazing site. She has fabulous products that are very drool worthy. I’ve met Kate on several occasions and she also had a baby #3 back in March when I had Sawyer and I’m loving being able to watch Max grow!

The House of Smiths
I love Shelley. Love her. She’s one of those people who is just amazing at anything she sets her mind too! I would categorize her blog as a craft/home decor blog (you’ve likely seen her pantry a million times through pins and facebook) but that isn’t why I visit her site at all. It’s because she is down to earth and she puts her self out there. Right now she’s going through a huge weight loss and she’s sharing her journey with us along the way. She’s done great so far and I’m so proud of her! She gives me that push of ‘I can do it!’ when I leave her site.

This is where, when possible, I lose time. Then I get frustrated because my list of projects begins to grow and I become well aware of how much is on my plate and how much I need to get down. I finish my latte, head back in the kitchen for round two, and focus in on what needs to get done for that day so that hopefully come the weekend I can get just one fun project crossed off my list!

Right before I have to go to work, I just sit on my couch and breathe in the day by drinking my latte. It just gives me a few minutes to get pumped up for the day and drink a delicious hot beverage! Love it!
