The Chicago Bean

Last week I went to Kolcraft in Chicago with Sarah, Christine, and Valerie.
(Shared a little here, read especially if you’ll be at BlogHer)

Kolcraft did a great job at letting us see the city. I’ve been to Chicago several times before but I’ve never been to the bean.

I thought it was pretty cool. Here I’m standing under the bean.

I had to take a picture with sweet little Sawyer too!

Wow – that … THING …. is awesome. It looks like a giant drop of mercury! In any case, it’s nice that you had the opportunity to visit. I’ve never been to Chicago. Take care πŸ™‚

  19. That’s so cool! I got to go to Chicago last January, but I didn’t get to see anything. I’d love to see The Bean and (even with my tremendous fear of heights) go out on the see-through floor at the Sears tower!

  20. Looks like y’all had a fun time! The pics in the bean are pretty cool!!

  21. I love that bean! We took pictures there earlier this summer. I love your middle shot; the one that is all swirly.

  25. So lucky! My husband is from Chicago, but I’ve only been there once, and the Bean was the ONE thing I wanted to see most of all…and it was under renovation!!! It was the biggest disappointment. I’m glad you got to see it.

Cool pictures, I have never been to the Bean, but it looks neat.

  27. In looking around to make a comment on a non-give-away Post I chose my hometown that you visited, and didn’t tell me you were here!!!! Dang girl, I could’ve met you downtown and said hello and met the infamous Sawyer too! DARN! So, you like our Bean huh? I remember while working for a law firm on Wacker & Randolph I use to walk their every day to file a case or to get a Sherriff’s summons or even file a workers comp case across the street at the State building. I guess I took it for granted the things that people come from far to see. I thought it was actually silly when the bean came, but now that I don’t see it every day I want to go back to visit. Go figure. Thanks for sharing my hometown! CHICAGO IS… SING IT FRANK~!!!
