I love Gummy Lump. If you haven’t discovered this website yet you are missing out BIG time. They have so many products that as a parent I have found to be completely invaluable. The brands they carry are high quality names we learn to trust for not just their name but through tried and true experiences. They are safe, durable, and our kids learn from them. Being a Gummy Lump Ambassador over the past year has been a blast and I can’t wait to share some fun projects with you over the year. If you are looking for fun projects you must check out the Gummp Lump Blog! This mama isn’t kidding around when it comes to getting crafty. She has great project ideas that will help you, go peek!
Gavin didn’t speak until he was two. He went through lots and lots of speech therapy and in the end I really owe a lot to wooden puzzles. They were the tools his therapist used to help him with his words. Melissa & Doug wooden puzzles will last you through multiple children and will not only entertain them but help them educationally in so many ways. They have fun nursery rhyme versions, letters & numbers, and even ones that have laces, ties, and zippers! Wooden puzzles are so important in so many ways and can help your children learn things you don’t even realize they are learning.
You can start your collection small or buy them in a set. Gummy Lump even sells storage racks to keep your puzzle needs all together and organized!
Do you remember my tag sale in August when we took out the market from Gavin’s room and he flipped out? That’s because he just loves how much fun Melissa & Dog play foods are! They last through any and all abuse and the are about as real as it gets for play food! No plastic denting food here. We never did put the set back in his room but instead it’s hanging out in the garage. It’s worked out well because he’s still using it when Johnny & Daddy work on projects out there. I’m not concerned about them getting ruined because even if we drive over the ketchup bottle we know it will survive. Melissa & Doug wooden toys are seriously the best made!
Gavin is in this art stage right now and LOVES anything to do with drawing. He needs no help and no direction. He can just grab paper and a crayon and come out with the most amazing projects. I’ve been considering an easel for him now for quite some time now. I’ve been looking all over and comparing and seeing which options I like best and every time I ended back at the Melissa & Doug Wooden Floor Easel! The paper isn’t included so you will want to pick up the Easel Companion Supply Set by Melissa & Doug to get them started. You are going to see a lot of this in my posts I’m sure b/c I don’t think I’ll be able to take photos of Gavin away from it after he gets it!
The Melissa and Doug Easel is the perfect way to inspire your artist! Generously sized chalk board and dry erase boards are perfect for projects large and small. Easel folds ups easily for convenient storage and features a colorful paint tray with cup holders. Has an easy loading paper roll holder and an extra large tray for holding erasers; chalk and clips. Paper cutting edge at top of easel means clean paper cuts for your artists work! 4 large clips included.
Adjustable to 3 positions so it grows with your child!
