We got 2 feet of snow in October and this was the SECOND snowfall we had that month! If you came by last week to link up and realized I didn’t post it was because it also caused us to go a week without power!

I haven’t seen that much before Halloween in years, maybe since I was about 7!

Insane!! It’s been cold here {relatively speaking, obviously} but no snowflakes. Yet alone enough to build a snowman. Stay warm!
Crazy! It doesn’t surprise me. I’ve been watching the news and saw that you guys got a lot. In Nebraska we get a lot of snow some years, and other years we don’t.
Would you believe I’m completely jealous? I am!

Wow I have not seen snow before Halloween since I was in Germany. Last year we had snow here in Jan that we built our first snow man with our son. He loved sitting on top and eating the body while we tried to make the head to place on top. His whole face was so red but he loved it.
Oh yes! Too many times have we gotten snow before Halloween. I’m always pleasantly surprised on the off years when it waits until November to sprinkle. What a nice snowman your kids built! 🙂
But you live in Alaska! That’s not fair!

I thought ours was bad we only got about 6 inches, lost power for 5 days. All the snow is melted now. Not looking forward to this winter.

That is CRAZY! I can’t even imagine. We were shorts on Halloween.
I just drove home in a dusting of the white stuff. Praying it doesn’t stick! Love the snowman and that is a lot of white!

Great snowman for October!
My little toddler loved waking up to the snow in October! We didn’t get around to making a snow man, but she took her little shovel and dug away to her heart’s content 🙂

The snow is beatiful! I love it when it snows, but that is because I am a SAHM and I don’t have anywhere to go! 🙂

I still can’t wrap my head around the fact that you all got THAT much snow in OCTOBER!
But at least the boys made the most of it with a well made snowman 🙂
