Vtech Kids has done it again! They came out with an all NEW Vtech V. Reader! I have been sharing Vtech Toys with you for quite awhile now but they just seem to be getting beVtech toys STILL work perfectly fine and have been handed down to Gavin too!
They most recently sent us the all NEW V.Reader and the Scooby Doo Book!
Once you get it out of the packaging you need to insert 4 AA batteries (not included). It comes with one game or you can purchase separate licensed games as well. Both are inserted through the back of the book. I love that you don’t need a screwdriver to get to the batteries!
I love how the book cover easy swivels completely to the back of the book. This makes it really easy for smaller children to maneuver as well.
I really like that the keyboard is QWERT because it will begin to familiarize my boys with the regular keyboard. In this technology world we live in its important that they learn how its going to be down the road instead of how other game systems keep them in order. They are easily touched to make selections.
At the bottom of the book is where the touch pen is. Gavin will often use his fingertips but loves the option of the pen. I wish there was a string attached to this as I worry this will be lost in no time. It also has a spot for headphones and the USB plug!
Soon you will be able to download different games and books into the virtual backpack on the V.Reader. I love this feature and can’t wait to try it out!
