Chocolate Raisin Oatmeal Cookie {Recipe}

MMmm…I have a recipe for you! I’ve never made oatmeal cookies before but the chocolate raisins that got my attention.

1 1/2 C All-Purpose Flour
1 t Baking Soda
1 t Cinnamon
1 C Butter or Margarine, softened
3/4 C Packed Brown Sugar
1/2 C Granulated Sugar
2 Eggs
2 1/4 C Oats, (Old fashioned or quick oats)
1 1/2 C Chocolate Raisins
1 C Pecans (optional)

Preheat oven to 350 F.

In small bowl combine flour, baking soda, and cinnamon.

Mix butter and sugars until creamy. Add eggs mix well.
Add flour mixture. Mix until creamy.
Sorry I forgot a photo here.
Once creamy, add oatmeal.
Add chocolate raisins.
The batter will look like this.
Use a medium sized scoop to place them.
Bake for 13-15 minutes
I learned these are one cookie you have to spray the pan. I don’t like to spray my nonstick pans. They stuck like crazy when I didn’t though.
Overall, this cookie tasted good but took isn’t a “pretty” cookie. They were a little dry. Maybe I’ll try it again with butter or instead of margarine.
