Make Ahead Meals For Busy Moms Cookbook – Review & Giveaway! (closed)

As a working mom I often get home and know that my family isn’t interested in leftovers or another round of spaghetti. But when it’s 6pm and I’m exhausted the last thing I’m interested in is piling up the dirty dishes and slaving over the stove! So, when Jane Doiron offered me a chance to review her new cookbook called ‘Make Ahead Meals For Busy Mom‘ I jumped on it.

This cookbook has recipes that are:

• Simple to prepare.
• Simple to assemble ahead of schedule.
• Simple to freeze ahead.

• Simple for the whole family to enjoy.

The moment I saw the mini-cupcake recipe on the back cover I knew I wanted to try it! I haven’t had a moment to try this out yet but plan on making these as a dessert to bring with me for an upcoming Christmas party! When I do I’ll be sure to take pictures of the recipe and post them here!
This cookbook has recipes for appetizers, breakfast & brunch, main dishes, side dishes, soups, and desserts! I have a few recipes already on my list to make like:

• chicken enchiladas
• baked manicotti
• mashed potato casserole
• beef stew
• blueberry squares
• and many more!

This is a great cookbook and has great tips on freezing and thawing. It also has directions for the day before and day after that I really like. The only thing that I wish it had was pictures. The only pictures it has are on the front and back. I am completely a make a recipe from its picture type of person so its hard for me to sometimes pick a recipe.
