How do I???

Thaw out frozen meat? It seems to be something us females are supposed to grow up knowing. I don’t so bad female I am. I always run and get my meat either same day or day before so I don’t need to freeze it…but wouldn’t ya know Big Y had to go run a buy one get TWO free sale on pork and chicken?!?!? Now its in my freezer and I don’t know what to do. LOL! Sad, I know. But when I microwave it I always do it too much and end up cooking the edges and then I have frozen centered burnt rubber edged chicken…yuck!
Please help me! BTW, did anyone ever try out that Mac & Cheese recipe?
If you did…how was it?

Take it out the day before, and put it on a plate in your fridge. The key is remembering to do it!! You could also take it out the morning before you go to work and put it in the fridge, but sometimes it will still be a little frozen in the middle if you wait until the morning of. 🙂 I did not try the mac and cheese recipe yet.

If you remember to then put it in the fridge the night before,if not leave it in an uncovered container in the (clean) sink to thaw at room temp. Worst case scenario, you can thaw the chicken in the slow cooker on low with a can of cream of mushroom soup!!!

Remembering to thaw it in the fridge is the best thing. I have also thawed chicken in a bowl of tepid water. It worked, but the clean up was more than I wanted. ;o)
